This is easily the best independent aquatics shop in Scotland. The are very well taken care of, the are all knowledgeable, the quality of goods available etc. It is just unbelievable. Not a single marine tank in sight. The passion for freshwater is refreshing. The fact that it is in a garden center with a cafe makes it even better as you can go look at fish, then go off and have a sweet treat before buying a and heading home 😁 Absolutely fantastic local store! I always enjoy visiting Riverside Aquaria– the selection is great, from healthy to plants and quality aquarium supplies. The are super friendly and genuinely helpful – they really know their stuff and are happy to give advice whenever I have questions. It’s clear they care about the well-being of the animals. Bit tight when busy but nothing can be done about that, Didn't really get time to explore dry goods as I was to taken a back purchasing fish. All were healthy and good specimens shame it's as far for me or id go weekly for a look, attached images of one of a couple of ropefish I got along with other Great little shop with lots of rare fish. All the looked really healthy and full of colour.They have live foods great selection of plants everything u need tbh,Its the cleanest place I've been and have the healthiest imo,staff are excellent aswell with lots of knowledge. Always my go to place for anything aquatic. are of excellent condition, price and also sure to get unique fish. Highly recommend. Owners and super helpful and knowledgeable. and amphibians in excellent health as are plants. Far superior to the chain shops and well worth a visit with some amazing and unusual creatures.
