You get swallowed into this former basilique and all the rests found in the surrounding areas, letting you imagine how the city looked like at different point in time. The grounds also house the ruins of an Abbey and fortifications which are all free to access and very interesting to see. It also provides a beautiful panoramic view of the town from the higher ground. All in all an excellent hidden gem of this fascinating area so rich in architectural history.
