Today I discovered a great authentic restaurant in Sorthela - Portugal 🇵🇹 not far from Belmonte. The positivisme, professionnalisme and drive of those young people was fabulous! The food.. super regional food but prepared and served as a 2 star Michelin resto. Seeing how they put there ideas and passion at work was a pleasure to encounter… this is where Portugese people needs to evolve to! Very lovely owners and a lovely renovated house in the middle of a castle. I had no food but the chamomile tea was fantastic and fresh made. Also they work together with disabled people. A must go when you’re in that area 👍👍👍 Totally unexpected gem, while visiting Castelo de Sortelha. Luisa was so gracious, and recommended fabulous local wine, olive oil, cheeses and meats for our lunch, after we explored the castelo and surroundings. One of the highlights of our trip to Portugal!
