Every pine tree and there were many, had processionary caterpillar nests. We have a dog and cannot risk it. This little village is a medieval relic encroached on top of Rocky Mountain. Its military importance led to its fortifications during Portugal first reign. The view is outstanding and its small cobblestone houses and streets are enchanting.
