Pleasant up through the woods with the Beck flowing quite a way below. There is a good view of the waterfall coming under an old bridge from the lake above, before you actually enter the "Nature Trail". Look out for the Money Tree on your right, a big low tree and a trunk crammed with coins. Towards the end you come out of the woods where it joins with public footpaths, then it's a gentle 400 metres up to the cave, where there is also a cafe and plenty of outside seating. We recommend that unless you are youngish and/or fairly fit you don't go further, once round the bend, a short time later, it then becomes a rock climbing exercise, although it is quite a dramatic gorge and lots more to see further up. Pram friendly and very steady. Pleasant but not massive so if like us you're big walkers, you're going to have to extend this haha. Nice little café at the start and clean toilets. Some absolute beautiful views. Lovely with plenty on benches for a little rest along the way, plenty of bins too. Cave was a little underwhelming after paying £17 odd each. Got to the to see ports loos and no actual toilets as they’re were being refurbished. Really beautiful trail for an easy walk. Pram friendly and suitable for all abilities. The closes at 16:00 so make sure to get there early if you want to see it. There is parking close to the church. Accessable for all ,wheel chair ,push chairs . Lovely ,information on the way . The caves at the end are a must so ,well worth the money . Nice cafe,drinks . Toilets are only porta loos Erg mooie wandeling, goede paden. Na Ingleborough worden de paden smaller en steiler. Lovely Well, it's worth a visit it suitable for all abilities as nature trail is a wide gravel path with some long gentle gradients. There is wheelchair access, which is more suited for all terrain wheelchair. There is a good path within the cave, though it is suitable for a narrow wheelchair. There are some low sections in the cave. It is, as said, well worth a visit and found it very interesting and informative. Bonus it is dog 🐕 friendly, and they are allowed in the cave. Beautiful village. We walked from the dalesbridge campsite to Austwick then on to Clappham. Lots to do. We visited the Old saw mill and had cuppa tea and cake. From there you can pay to the ingleton estate and visit the caves. We got the last bus back to Austwick. Stopped off here on way back from the Lake Dsitrict to break up the journey a little. £2.50 for adults to access to the trail (more if you want to then go into the caves etc). Nice peaceful on well maintained path up towards the caves. You can then cross the stream and climb up a steep hill to another path, or go back down the way you came. Cafe and toilets available at start/finish place. Some free parking available on the streets in Inglebrough or there is a pay and display car park. Dogs have to be kept on leads but they still enjoyed it plenty. Brilliant up to the show caves with lovely scenery, we also used this as a starting point to up Ingleborough which was amazing, the only downside is that the trail was badly sign posted for each if6 the 4 circular walks bur thus didn't spoil our time there. First time visiting and what a beautiful peaceful place! Loved it. Definitely will be returning ☺️. Great walk, well looked after so worth the entry fee.
