Wear comfortable sneakers or boots. can be damp. No public toilets or visitors centre. Lots of cafes/restaurants near by. Only a few bins at the start of the trail. A few nice waterfalls and the impressive smugglers cave after a good climb Fantastic work up to Smuggler Cave but be aware of erosion for drops so stay inside Good natural beauty but currently shut due to the corroding away. Lovely walks surrounding the area and other ways to the top of the glen. Well worth a visit Reat glen plenty of walks & nice places to sit Lovely wee along the glen and over waterfalls. Its a really enjoyable walk, never made it as far as smugglers cave but will be back to get there and beyond. Stunning amidst the autumnal colour. The main is still closed, but there’s an opening where you can pass. It’s fairly safe, but there are two big holes that fall steeply into the gorge, so you need to keep an eye out. Still a lovely indeed even if you choose not to pass the closed path! An amazing must visit walk, several waterfalls, and different routes available. The is quite rugged, so be careful. A beautiful woodland walk, especially in October with the beautiful colours! We took the that led to Smuggler's Cave. The is easy to follow but genuinely treacherous in places where some of the land has slipped away above a very steep gorge. There are warning signs in place everywhere. Perfectly safe if you heed the warnings but I would say, on this to the cave, you do need a bit of a head for heights. The paths are very narrow with steep drops. Care must be taken. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Waterfalls and streams. Brilliant up onto the top of the hills. Stunning views. Great for the dog. There are sheep in the grazing fields on the slopes up to the top (there were non beyond that). The paths are pretty good but you can go off piste. There are woodlands along the lower slopes. Amazing views. Such a romantic quiet place for both couples or even families Lovely Stunning place with gorgeous views, waterfalls and rock formation however, its has quiete narrow paths in some areas with big drops. I Wouldn't recommend when it's wet as some areas can be slippy and in some areas you need to sit down while going down. Just be careful.The scenery is outstanding though. I Wouldn't recommend bringing young children if your walking all the way up A beautiful woodland with paths along side the river. There is a waterfall too. This is a great starting point to walks in the Ochil Hills. The Nebit and Ben Cleuch can be reached from here. I was a bit disappointed to go there with children as one side of the was closed. The other way was too difficult for us because of children. It is good to go to the woodland playground if you have children as there is a nice simple and you can get in in the water. Great scenery. Will go there again soon. I missed a beautiful cave, as i stopped at the tip if the hill, but when you get up to the top of the on the hill it keeps going along to a hidden waterfall/cave.
