Had a lunch in a see through plastic tent with lovely decor. Food was well presented and wine was delicious! Service was quick and helpful. Unfortunately, with the warm weather the plastic tent became a greenhouse. It was quite warm inside so dress accordingly but it should not diminished the excellent dining experience. Highly recommended. We had some drinks at the bar. Think they were very busy with all the people dining (food looked great) and think we suffered a shift change. Took a while for reach round of drinks. Cozy and delicious restaurant. People are very polite and very good beer variety. Food is all taste perfect we tasted slow roasted pork and penne and all is perfect . Starter was hot shrimp which was also spicy and we'll prepared. Stayed here for one night while on a cycling trip. Lovely clean room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We appreciated the snacks provided in the room. Had a meal in the downstairs bar and restaurant. Really friendly service from Drago and his team. The spare ribs were amazing! If you ever visit Steenbergen I can highly recommend Bistro Bar Dok. We stopped there for a drink and the bar is very pretty, the staff was nice and efficient, and the drinks were lovely (the coffee had a fancy swirl drawn on it!) The food was good but we waited for the main course for about an hour and a half which, in my opinion, is unacceptable. Especially because it was time for dinner and we were excited to eat. The waiters did not ask or inform us about anything, were slow and careless. The place was not even full… and we ordered just 2 dishes, so nothing crazy. Portions were small, prices quite high. It made our first visit quite disappointing. We will not come back.
