A very pleasant place to through the countryside and hills. The is also to sit by and watch all the birds. Shame what was free parking my entire life is now £2.50, but at the very least that is £2.50 all day, which is reasonable. Beautiful place with walks all around the park. They are well signposted so easy to follow. Ample car parking and views. Highly recommend. Beautiful, peaceful - pleasant walks , it's a must visit of lovers place to take the kids A wonderful Country with plenty of hedges, copse, meadows, and pond. Great for families with kids, dog owners, and anyone who wishes to enjoy nature It’s a little country to visit. Plenty of facilities, toilets baby change and also a which is open all year round. It’s a around the lakes. You can buy bird food from the for £1 a bag and the ducks will eat from your hands. The children’s area has lots of activities to do, swings, zip line, climbing frame etc. You can also buy day tickets to fish here during the fishing season. This is a very nice to visit for kids or walk. Always for a nice lots of wild life and a good size area Love coming here. Plenty to do for all ages. Nice a quiet today as the weather was a little cold. We fed the Swans, Ducks, Pigeons and the dreaded seagulls with the food purchased from the little cafe. Little person had a in the which she thoroughly enjoyed. with children's playground area, plenty of seating and well maintained grounds. Cafe, toilets, nature trails with bug hotels and carp park. Dog friendly, parking. Ranger says Fishing contains Tench, Roach, Perch and Pike with a small number of single figure carp. day ticket is £13.40 for adults and £7.90 for Juniors (under 16) and concessions. You need to go to the visitor centre to purchase your ticket and show your current Rod licence. buzzing with activities. There's a offering cakes, coffee and some nibbles. The toilets are decent. There was on access to the animals on the day we visited. Lots of well maintained different walks here. We took our dog - she had to be kept on a lead around the lake, visitor centre etc which was fine. The and toilets were only open to 4pm - we'd visited later than that. There's a nice looking kids by the car and lots of benches/picnic benches dotted about. Car free and on 4.9.22 was open to 7.30pm. Lovley family day out round the lake Great for kids . Fishing . Country walks . And but 1 star because a greedy council introduced paid parking. Parking is no longer free .. The serves the best hot chocolate (with cream and marshmallows)! My son (6) loves the educational/ visitors centre and always interacts with the activities. The around the is always pleasant and we have taken the longer routes on warmer days. My children always enjoy it, especially the route with hidden apparatus. Kids always enjoy the park, though I do think there is room for more. It's a beautiful place for a with the dog, or if you don't have a dog it's still a place to go. The at this time of year is full of wildlife so plenty of photos to take if your interested in that. They have a café, benches all around the to sit on and take in the view's. It's one of the cleanest places I've seen, and is well kept, & thought out. Well worth a visit. park, good cafe, lots of benches to sit at. There are lots of ducks to feed, and absolutely loads of trails and paths to follow. But the signs/maps are a little wanting. It's not a big problem, but it could be awkward if one is lost without a phone or map app. My favourite country in the Medway area, surreal open fields that go on for miles, perfect for long dog walks and a beautiful pond with wildlife. Also have a wildlife centre and that does seemingly lattes! Definitely visit if you are in the area. Always very clean , the is lovely, the is nice , the for the children is good , we love coming here Beautiful if muddy not for a pram (if hiking away from park) or unsteady of foot. But dog or explorer for the day We did tobogganing and really enjoyed it. Will definitely be coming again A place to relax after work… for a wonderful walk. I highly recommend it! THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAIL I am currently sitting on a bench right near the trail at capstone and it’s so bad I’m leaving a review right now. There are like 1 billion roots everywhere and I’ve slipped about 100 times I know it’s muddy because it’s winter right now but this is a warning to not come on the mountain bike trail. And maybe I’ve got something wrong but I’ve had to up around 2000 hills to get here. The is really nice to around and you could probably just cycle around there. So warning don’t go on the mountain bike trail unless you want to leave sad and feel suicidal day out with a round the lake! The little is brilliantly run!
