It is a great facility and ideal group activity option. The venue is well-presented with smart seating areas, modern lanes, and a fresh-looking bar area. Bowling is user-friendly via the lane displays. Food/drinks available with lane service and £10.75 for two games were great value. The lanes aren't full size however, I'd say they're 3/4 the normal distance, making it better for younger bowlers and perhaps slightly easier for experienced ones, but a fun challenge for all nonetheless. There are also a couple of smaller lanes for children and plenty of ramps/balls available. If you've had enough bowling, there is a shuffle board, pool tables, interactive dart boards, and a few arcade machines that were all in good order. The darts were excellent, although score-keeping via the interactive board was sometimes erroneous. The shuffle board has no sand on it, so we didn't even bother! Overall, it was a good night out with plenty of sporting competition for the group to have a go at. I recommend you give it a go! Really great location, colourful and bright, good music playing! Definitely a place I will be visiting again to try all the different activities. We went for 2 games of for 3 adults which came to just over £32, and took us about an hour to complete. There were a couple of game options to choose which changed the graphics on the lanes and TV screens - I really enjoyed this! The balls were quirky as they were like snooker/pool balls! Staff were friendly and helpful! Nice range of beers. 10 pin skittles kept getting stuck. Place wasn't busy, but had a bit of a wait each time I went to bar. Lovely view of seafront. Got attacked by some strange insects. Great little activity space in Southend. Not just but a whole variety of activities including shuffleboard, pool, arcade games, interactive darts, and more! They offer food & drinks which you can order directly from the lane screens or you can order at the bar. There is also a lovely view of the seafront and adventure island. Would definitely come back here; great for a birthday or party. A fun activity for the kids, friendly staff. My only issue was that I thought my NHS discount on line was correct but was told if I'd rang to book and not booked online I would've had 20% off. This should be clearer on their website I had the most amazing experience here thanks to a lovely member who went above and beyond to make me a piña colada (mocktail), even though it didn't seem like it waw on the menu, without hesitation, one of the team—an incredibly lovely brown Asian woman (apologies I didn’t catch her name) -offered to make one from scratch. It was honestly the best piña colada mocktail in Southend. It was so perfectly made with the best balance of coconut and Pineapple. It really made my night honestly. I just wanted to say thank you to her. The organisation and communication leading up to it was first class. Being one of the organisers I kept popping in and out leading up to the date, probably quite annoyingly to be honest, but the management and were extremely helpful and reassuring. On the day the were amazing, making sure we had everything we needed, and constantly checking etc. The kitchen managed 25-30 meals all to come out together and on time. The food was warm and well received by all. The bar was fully stocked, with an excellent member of serving for the duration.
