The tunnel down to it is pretty cool to go through and the country park itself is good enough to go for a walk. Nice views, on a clear day you can see france. Also has toilets and a cafe so a little bonus. Unique landscape. Very peaceful walk and the parking is very reasonably priced. TIP: bring coins for the parking, as the signal is not great there for the parking app (Ring Go) That's definitely one of the hidden gems on the south east cost ! Overall, Samphire Hoe offers a pleasant and accessible outdoor experience with a blend of nature, scenery, and historical interest. Samphire Hoe Country Park in Dover is generally well-regarded for its scenic walks, wildlife viewing, and accessibility. Many reviewers appreciate the well-maintained paths, including those suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The park offers diverse views of the sea and white cliffs, along with a chance to observe nature and wildlife. What a wonderful place, absolut gem. Great walks and views, will be returning Nice walk and view points. Not the best if you want a swim. Too far down and it’s a nude beach! A wonderful place for walks. Dogs strictly on leads only at all times. Drone flying is strictly forbidden here because of Eurotunnel Security and the sensitivity of wildlife and resident grazing livestock. Friendly and helpful rangers. Although described on literature as a Countryside Park it is not, it is actually a SSSI and nature reserve. Interesting walk by the beach, on concrete though, nit much to see and bit close to the actual cliffs if that's what you're lookinrg this is not the right place. Free toilets and a breeze of sea air plus a dozen of people fishing. Interestingly the landfill seems to mostly have come from the rubble from creating/ building the Eurotunnel. Great day with amazing views and only £2 to park. It helped that the weather was beautiful today although a tad windy. We all had a lovely walk from the carpark to the beach and then back again. There is also a little cafe on sight ( outside seating only) that sells all sorts from tea to ice cream, sausage rolls, pastries etc. Lovely place to spend a few hours Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
