This place is actually a sign museum first, and a cafe second. Upon arrival will direct you where not to lean your bike. Then the sign at the entrance forbids you to bring in outside food, no smoking or littering (all obvious in 2024) and dogs must be on leads. As you enter the bar there are multiple forbidding cameras and no bare chests or bikinis. Once you’re at your seat, there are to tell you CCTV is in operation and no smoking are hanging on the fence by each table. If you dare walk around the cafe keep your hands off the plants (there’s a sign for that!) and children must not line up at the toilets if they are with a school group - why there’s a sign for that too. There’s even no entry on doors that you wouldn’t think to go through anyway! Finally, if you need the toilet, you may do so ‘after consumption’ by asking for a key at the bar. Just remember to stop touching all the plants first and put your shirt back on! Apple cake was delicious but left feeling exhausted at being told off by all the signs. Fantastic place to grab a cold drink or a bite to eat as you explore Ponale and Garda lake. The ride, walk, hike is pretty basic to get here and the view is definitely worth it. Great roadside spot. I stopped by for some calories and a coffee while on a bike ride. Simple and delicious. Stopped here in mid-October. The views are amazing, both lake Garda as well as the surrounding mountains. Often places like this have mediocre food because they make up for it with the surroundings, but the vegetarian sandwich actually tasted really nice, and the spritz was so refreshing after a long walk over the mountains. Nice small cafe with amazing mountain views. The cafe itself doesn't have too many food options but is great to sit down and have a coffee or ice-cream after the hike especially in hot weather. Beautiful oasis for cyclists and walkers. Good food toasty was 8e sandwich 13e but was a good one though not the cheapest. Magical views, great location for a stop on the way from Riva del Garda to Lago di Ladro. Quite expensive, 9€ for two Ice Coffees, sandwiches about 17€.
