My first room experience and I'll definitely be doing more. Great venue and the host was very friendly and helpful. Friendly staff despite us being the late slot on a sunday! We completed vlad the vampire room, very well decorated and immersive! Full of surprises! We did find it to be one of the harder rooms we have done. They even run a leadboard for those feeling competitive, making it a great challenge. Second time visiting - staff super friendly and good to see that one of the rooms from our last visit had been rejigged to a new room. This time we did the pirate ship and it was a lot of fun. We did in good time & got on the leader board so I recommend thinking of a team name before you go! What an amazing team day out! Great experience. From start to finish. Car parking great! We’ve done over 20 rooms and really enjoyed both of these - in our opinion the Pirate Ship one was the more challenging one, but both were really good. Helen & Ollie were lovely and welcoming. We’d definitely return next time we’re in the Lake District. Highly recommend. My partner and I did the bank diamond heist and it was absolutely brilliant. We were met by a lovely lady (Helen? I think her name was) she briefed us on the story and what to expect. The room itself was challenging in a good way. Very cleverly thought out. We both really enjoyed it. We managed to within the hour. 5 stars absolutely fantastic! Nice people, well organised. We did the bank robbery and finished with 6 mins to spare as a family of 4. That’s the easiest option. The pirate one is the hardest apparently. Defo a fun thing to do on a rainy day in the lakes! Last minute change of plans due to the weather meant a quick phone call to check availability and a trip to complete the haunted pirate ship. The guy couldn’t have been more helpful and myself and my 13 year old thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent challenge and enjoyed it so much we went back to complete Vlad the vampire the following day, which was if anything even better. We were given a 10% discount for the second room. Very enjoyable and would absolutely recommend a visit. Less than 20 minutes from Haven Lakeside at Flookburgh.
