We went here this week after a fairly long time away, I had read that the was warmer due to feedback from people,& it is, it is kept at 27 or 29, can't remember which, it has made such a difference, didn't feel chilly at all, even after sweating it out in the sauna,& steam room, it didn't feel too bad getting back in, & it usually feels freezing. The hair dryers are a 20p coin if you need to use them, atthe moment they are doing a free 3 day pass, which we used, for 1 session so far, we will definitely be regulars now with a decent temperature. I went here because the I usually go is with works. This is so dirty, was even black things on the floor of the kids pool, all around the tiles you can see a line of dirt, my son kept falling because the floor tiles were slimy, I went at 11am so wasn't that late and the had pieces of chocolate wrapper and chips bags, the changing rooms was even worse, none of the showers work besides the disabled one, was so dirty, full of hair and papers, no one gives a clean between classes and general swim, left very disappointed. Definitely not worthy the 6.50£ per person. Avoid if you don't want to get hypothermia. Water is way too cold to be able to function properly, I went in today and spent 5 seconds in the before I had to leave. Not worth the £7 entry. Good swimming for babies and toddlers especially with the splash tots sessions where toys are provided. The shallow parts go straight into the lane swimming area so there's not much room for older children to play. Changing rooms are decent size however look a little tired. Rang today to ask if still had quieter sessions as haven't been since before COVID. Girl on phone was lovely and gave good advice when to come. my son has autism and struggles badly in crowd. Decided to drive over as we are not local and was impressed from start to finish. Some of the life guards kept smiling at him and he was so relaxed. Even though it's bit far from us will be back next weekend.staff although young were great. Attended aqua aerobics last night for the 1st time, really great instructor, noticed I was new and said hello, fun enjoyable session. Both reception staff i spoke to were welcoming and friendly, the second taking time to answer my membership questions. Thank you! Never been to such a disgusting in my life. The was filthy and as my 9 year old said the water was salty 🤢 the so call ‘lifeguards’ around the were so rude with the children. The changing rooms were sickening, the shower heads had that much limescale on half of them didn’t work. Will honestly be surprised if none of us get poorly. NEVER again! Went to a family fun session. Got told either half an hour left of current 'session's come back at 11am. Which we had no problem with however I have visited Robinson and Waendel in Wellingborough and did not have to book nor got told to 'wait until sessions started. The sessions were also two family fun sessions in a row so I didn't really understand this. The showers were just absolutely poor. Dirty and just bad quality. The itself was great but my daughter was having trouble with the loud water fountain so I wanted to take her further away towards the deepr end but the lifeguard told me not to go further than half way which I do understand but my daughter was visibly upset so a little compassion would have been nice.
