We were a large party but all the meals were excellent. Service was good, all friendly and efficient. Lovely building and grounds, tastefully decorated. The settings are beautiful. The food was really and the cost of things was relevant to the quality. The course is very but not perfect. Tee boxes need to improve, fairways and greens were slow and could of had a cut. But generally an all round set up and course. The building is exquisite with plenty of parking near to the front door. Fantastic Played here as part of a Society on 11th September 2025. The course was in magnificent condition and we could not have been made more welcome by all of the staff. The little touches were superb namely a welcome board with the name of our society and printed menus for the meal again showing the name of the Society and giving the history of the club. Used to be my favourite TKMaxx because it was kept tidy and has nice staff. Feel like the days of being able to get a bargain have gone. Not sure if this applies to all TKMax stores now. Having said that it's vital that the town keeps this store as its the nearest thing to a department store the town has. Wonderful surroundings and an interesting course with a variety of holes. Probably because we played the day after the club championships, but a fantastic experience nonetheless A very welcoming Club with a great location, facilities & overall setup. Course was a bit wet, it's just that time of year, but enjoyable nonetheless. Will be back to play in the summer, well worth another visit. Catering team (special mention to Claire!) looked after our society really well, even stopping later to accommodate us and ensure we had everything we needed, which was very much appreciated.
