Absolutely atrocious. New layout doesn't work, bins overflowing and now being turned away with tree stumps and told to "go to Upton, or come back tomorrow,".. RUBBISH Friendly staff, quite busy due to lockdown. I had a frustrating experience at Sixfields Recycling recently. The stood around watching as I struggled to unload my items, offering no assistance whatsoever. One member in particular, a man wearing a white hard hat, just stood there and watched instead of helping. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of customer service, especially when a little bit of effort could make the process much smoother for everyone. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you need any kind of assistance—don’t expect the to lift a finger. and layout works although busy on Wednesdays as double traffic of other tip in Ecton Brook being closed. This does sound a little odd. But I think our tip is a valued service. With very staff. Especially the senior members. So and polite. Nice to have a service from the council that is a positive experience, that makes people's lives more convenient. Thank you to the there 👌. New layout sucks. The old layout was a lot smoother you could get in and out no probs. Now you have to wait for people to reverse into the spaces making the visit more stressfull. They also have got rid of a load of the ramps so the capacity is apalling. I don't know if they have outsourced to a new firm but its a lot worse than it used to be. Superb, friendly, polite, staff. The site is also very clean which is really important - it's not just a 'tip'! Thanks to all the there for doing an excellent job. UPDATE 2023: Spoke to a gentleman today regarding the disposal of a couple of large items, incredibly helpful. This recycling centre is excellent - thank you to all the who maintain it, help the public and keep it tidy. I've got another puncture at this place. Never have this problem anywhere else like Towester. Stop being lazy and sweep the rubbish debri. Boss and managers not listening to customers reviews,so I am making a complaint higher up to the council,and seeking compensation through small claims. Very the and very well organised. Thank you! Happy with the service. What a mess it was today when I went there! Rubbish in heaps everywhere and no capacity for green waste, I was told. The new parking spaces for unloading are too narrow. I only have a small car but found it difficult to open the door without hitting the vehicle next to me! Hopefully things will improve as this is the first week of the new opening times. Someones broke the tip it's understaffed and a real big mess the two lads on duty were working really hard but everyone else seemed to be missing First day of new provision, absolutely appalling.
