Riverside Hub in Northampton is truly an impressive place and definitely deserves a top rating! From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought out with families and children of all ages in mind. The structure is enormous — four stories high, with themed sections (such as an Egyptian tomb, a space zone, and interactive bridges), and everything is incredibly safe and spotlessly clean. The were thrilled to explore every hidden corner and zoom down the various slides. Beyond the traditional play, Riverside Hub offers: • fantastic go-karts where can race like real drivers, • a charming retro carousel, • a massive 10-meter tree, • a thrilling laser tag arena, • a creative role-play village (with shops, cafés, a hospital, and more), • mini golf, • free arcade games, • special toddler areas and sensory rooms. A brilliant bonus is the interactive walls that record videos of the climb — a fantastic keepsake for the kids! The were outstanding — friendly, helpful, and genuinely enthusiastic. The café offers a wide range of tasty food options at very reasonable prices. Entry prices are also very attractive, especially considering how many activities are included — you pay once and can enjoy almost everything without any extra charges. Parking is available onsite (though it’s a idea to arrive early on weekends), and online booking is quick and easy. An extra advantage is that the venue offers special sessions for children with additional needs (SEN) and is fully accessible for people with disabilities. In summary: Riverside Hub is one of the best family venues we have ever visited — an incredible range of attractions, excellent organization, cleanliness, affordable prices, and endless fun. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return! This place was absolutely surprisingly nice. Perfect for kids, birthday parties, team celebrations and also for adults. I didn’t know what to expect and was surprised with all the areas they had inside the venue. Two things that stand out for me were (1) the quality for the pay areas. I am a big fella and the built of the obstacles were hefty and felt safe. (2) the food, were delicious! The pizzas, especially the bbq chicken. Definitely took me by surprise. The price of the food items were also not bad at all. My only pointer would be the parking spots. The parking was hard to manage. I suggest visitors to park across walks away to McDonalds. But overall, I recommend this place, especially for families. WoW, what a centre. Fixed price for 2.30 mins. Let me tell ya, it isn't enough to do it all, but it is value. Need to come back now 😆. There is so much to do from softplay, crazy golf, laser quest, model villages, and more. The will love it and possibly the adults too. Reasonable price cafe on site also with plenty of options. Car park can get busy book in advance. This is worth the drive - even if you are 1+ hour away. If you are stuck on what to do on a rainy day, if you have a child's birthday party to organise, then this is the best option in the area. Whatever activity you could think of, Riverside have done their utmost to deliver: a fairy tale pretend (fairy bakery, toadstool houses), a regular pretend (shops, professions), a sensory and baby area, go karts, mini golf, laser tag, a creative area, two trees, arcade games, themed birthday rooms and a 4-storey frame with gigantic ball pit and slides. All in all, you are getting a lot for what you pay for and it's all designed to a high standard. Genuinely my only gripe is that you can't spend all day here; it's timed entry/exit for 2.5 hours. Other plays we use don't have limits, which might suit better if you need the whole day out of the house. In any case, book ahead, book parking and enjoy! More than worth the hour and a half drive. Best centre by far. Just gutted we didn’t get to do all of it. But will be returning soon. were amazing. Loved the lockers to put our stuff in so we could with our daughter. Was very surprised the machines inside were free. Love that the toy machines was a price every and were some great items too x **this was so accessible too, the openings were wide (so a bigger person would have no issues getting around with the little children) and you didn’t have to bend on any level too. There is so much to this place. The amount of stuff to do here is amazing, the attention to detail is phenomenal. The price for a quick bite to eat were decent, were so nice, we will be going back soon i hope! We have recommended it to all our friends. Even as a grown up you will like it! Free arcades, wall, go karts 3d golf the lot Fantastic play. I have been to many and this is one of the best we have visited. Huge area, clean and tidy, choice of food and snacks, really nice coffee also. Highly recommended. Nice place for kids, very big and your will enjoy that. Took my 2 year old nephew today. Absolutely here, I will definitely be back We have been here so many times I've lost count. My son absolutely loves it. The amount of stuff to do here is overwhelming, They have a massive area, two role village areas , rock climbing, lazer quazer, glow in the dark golf, The have a section for babies & a section for toddlers. They have a carousel, and electrics car which are all free once you pay the admittance fee. The food is nice and reasonably priced. There is an arcade which has a selection of game which is free too. They have many claw machines but you have to pay for them. You get a stamped ticket everytime you go and every third visit is free & if your child gets a snapband they can get a free gift everytime they go. Visited here a few times with my daughter and once with her brothers from another mother .. had posted a review on my other Google account which I was logged into, but use this account more., highly recommend, lots to do, reasonably priced food and friendly polite staff. Sensory equipment and available too, ideal for children with learning difficulties or not so motor skills.. parking was sometimes a bit difficult but always managed. Once your baby starts pulling themselves up this place is amazing! We went with our then 9 month old and he had a great and really helped develop his skills. Go during the week if you can for a discount and it's nice and quiet for babies/toddler. Will definitely visit regularly as he grows and explores more and more as there is so much for of all ages. Sensory rooms, ball pits, frames and play, role rooms and more!! Went here for first and overall wonderful place. Great for and adults alike. Brilliant theme all around can't fault this place. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. are welcoming and friendly. You pay one price and everything is included. Rock climbing, ball pits, sensory area, play, role-playing places. Disabled lift for those that need it. Food served here is great and variety for everyone. Such a great indoor entertainment venue for 2-8 year olds! We've visited the Riverside hub a few times and it's been better every time. They're continuously improving the areas and adding extra zones each time. The tree is a big favourite and the 4 level is incredible. We love coming to the Hub. As a family of 9, it can be a bit expensive, but for entertainment value, there's something for all the to enjoy - even our 5 month old twins. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, but we do have a large vehicle, so it's difficult to park in most places anyway. The food is nice, sometimes the wait is long though, but worth it. Laser tag is one of the favourite activities for our kids, but the village is for toddlers, and the sensory rooms for babies are great. Well worth a visit! I give this place 10/10. We took my 3 (nearly 4) and 1.5 year old today. The value for money is brilliant. There is so much to do, the session wasn’t quite long enough! I really liked that whilst my 3 year old did the my younger one could go in the toddler play. This place is absolutely magical and feels really enchanted. It’s tidy, clean and organised and the are really friendly. All the activities are included. You might have to wait a few minutes as the go karts and carousel run alternately but to be honest it wasn’t over booked so you could get on them without a queue. I have a 7 year old too who I know will be jealous they missed out, il have to bring him there too. SO much thinking has gone behind the decor, it makes you feel like you are in another world at times. Great big daisys moving, light up slides, it’s sensory heaven. There are teddy machines where you win every ranging from about £3 to £5 for bigger teddies, and they are really quality ty ones too, so no disappointment and you don’t get ripped of (in fact cheaper than the shops)! The food and drink was very well priced, no paying extra for syrups or marshmallows etc which is a change from most places.. I spoke to a lady who was either the owner or manager (who helped us when we couldn’t win a teddy) and she is so invested in this place, which is why it’s so good, there’s a very personal element about your visit. You get a gift as you leave which your child can choose from a cabinet. I will be back again and again without a doubt and will be bringing my friends too. Worth the 1.5 hour drive. Hopefully will get Christmas tickets too! Had an absolutely brilliant day at the Riverside Hub, the whole place was decorated like a Christmas winter wonderland, with all dressed as Elves. The entrance to Santa's Grotto was beautifully decorated with a snowy winter scene, complete with a moving train track. Inside the Grotto was truly magical, Santa created a relaxed atmosphere, he was calm and patient with a softly spoken voice. There were plenty of things to do, from decorating a gingerbread man to going on a treasure hunt. A truly fabulous day was had by everyone, highly recommended, we will definitely be back. Brilliant few hours here. My are 8yo and had plenty of fun!! Best we've ever been to Magical in every way, we had the best thank you so much. We came yesterday for the Christmas experience and it didn’t disappoint so much to do and meeting Father Christmas was so magical. We felt the price we paid was not to expensive, and there is so much to do. 2 1/2 hours just wasn’t enough as there is so much to do, our daughter didn’t want to leave. Everything was amazing, especially the go karts and carousel. It felt so Christmassy. The work really hard to create the most special experience and it is so clean. Massive thanks to all the staff. This was our 2nd Christmas visiting and would highly recommend it. See you next year. Thank you again. Our go-to place with the kids, whatever the weather! The best UK Christmas experience we've ever had, alongside year-round fun for all ages. The variety of activities is endless, with incredible attention to detail and opportunities everywhere you look. The different rooms are thoughtfully designed for each age group, everything feels fresh, and nothing ever looks tired. My especially love the carousel and role areas – it's pure magic. There's truly nowhere else like it! Awesome place for a toddler!!! We have been coming to Riverside hub since our now seven year old was just a baby, we love it here. It’s secure, clean and updated regularly. The food is fab and the are lovely. There is so much to do. Our little girl was extremely excited when she spotted the slides! If I liked the height I would have had a go myself. Fantastic addition Riverside Hub and we will be back again soon My husband two children and I were staying near by for Easter weekend and heard about Riverside Hub from a lady we had spoken to. We booked for the next day. We were just amazed when we got there, there is so much to look at and do it’s just something you dream about as a child! We had such a great that we booked and returned the next day for round two! Excellent pricing and so much to do. By far the best I have ever been to. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, thanks for a fab :) Truly an Incredible place with staff, so much to do for both my young children. Great and super friendly. Everywhere is always clean with attentive reacting to all situations. I would also like to say a kind thank you to the Director Nathan, he was every where, wall, cleaning, opening doors for customers and even litter picking in the car park when I arrived, It’s soo to see owners helping. A truly wonderful place and I will be booking Christmas soon. I have not personally been here however, I've just seen a video from a SEN parent who had a wonderful experience here with her child. It seemed she was made to feel that her child was no different and could enjoy the same activity, whilst knowing he was safe and would be supported if he became unsure. This should be the norm, but unfortunately it isn't at many places. Very happy for that lady and her child that they had such a wonderful experience. We went for 1st today and we will definitely be back!! So much variety of areas, free arcade games like basket ball games, VR game, bikes etc. We had a fantastic visit and little one is fast asleep in car now! Highly recommend.
