It's pet friendly and prices are fair. The host is kind & helpful, the location is wonderful even before trees start to blossom and cover the whole scenery with a magical greenery glow. The road's a bit bumpy but manageable. Breakfast is included and you can have lunch& dinner at a fair extra cost. There's an art center a few steps away where you can take pottery classes and it has an ancient cave church right next to it, beautiful to have a look at. Hope to revisit the place in summer! The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, the staff is very helpful and attentive and the food is organic, natural and tasty, the food was perfect and the Ladies attendinng us were very welcoming. Highly recommend meditating in the morning on the lawn as the sun rises from behind the hills. Outside the Retreat there is so much to do, we had a walk to the village and the surroundings. Real cool and quiet place to explore nature and escape the city for a couple of days and is mandatory to ask for meals to be included since the food was incredible. The rustic charm of the place instantly won us over. The food was absolutely delicious, freshly prepared by locals and full of the rich flavors of traditional Romanian cuisine.. What made the experience even more special were the welcoming and kind people who made us feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality added so much to the overall ambiance. Even though our stay was short, we left feeling refreshed and wishing we had more time to soak in the tranquility of this wonderful retreat. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a touch of authentic Romanian charm! Everything was perfect except the fact that there are no shelves or anything to put away your clothes in the room. Very clean and authentic feel.
