There are around 4 cells and one old Orthodox Church. The cells are carved in the mountain's rock. Really wonderful wall painting inside the Church. The place really gives you peace and tranquility and is really worth to visit. A special church in a special place. For those who have hiking shoes - go and see the old cave dwellings on the peak above the church, they are not so well known by the tourists. Interesting place, not very well taken care though. Nature is awesome, beautiful surroundings A place in this world for monks who were already living out of this world. A vibrant spiritual centre, unfortunately seized by tourism & publicity. Which is good for the local community and for awareness, but nevertheless it takes away much of its otherworldly energy. It should be a place of contemplation and meditation, not picnic. Really cute! The road that leads here isn't very good, and from now and then kind of dangerous (mind the falling rocks and trees), but overall it was worth it. Highly recommend. It doesn't look like much at first sight, since the church yard is small, but once you are inside, the small caves are remarcable and you can even see small engravings going back hundreds of years. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
