The was friendly and helpful, the room large and very clean, the furnishings sparse but attractive and all that we need. Everything worked well, the keys, the doors , the windows, the hot water and plumbing and the internet. The balcony was shared with two other rooms but was wide and long, clean and offered a view of the town and a sunny spot in the morning. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, day and night. The town is remote and quiet, dark at night to see the stars & moon. The walking paths were picturesque and interesting. I will stay there again on my next trip, and recommend it highly to those desiring a peaceful, economical and healthy stay. Excellent value for money and attentive staff, in an idyllic setting. Ps: The lithographic limestone in the bathroom will delight fans of paleontology. Our three-day, two-night trip to Germany was truly wonderful. Every morning, we enjoyed an authentic German-style buffet breakfast featuring fresh fruits and vegetables, high-quality proteins, and a wide selection of beverages. During our stay, we had to travel between Solnhofen and Mörnsheim. Although the distance seemed short—just a seven-minute drive on the map—the journey was entirely through mountainous roads, with no direct public transportation. Thankfully, the kind-hearted hotel generously offered to drive us back and forth, making our trip much easier. The hotel’s decor was filled with fossil-themed elements, which was a delightful surprise for my son. One of the highlights for him was discovering a fossil embedded in the bathroom wall, which he excitedly captured in a photo. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Majestic mountains stretched before us, and every step outside felt like walking through a painting—crystal-clear streams, charming stone bridges, rugged mountain formations, and an old well. The nearby town was pristine and well-maintained. Every morning, we woke up to the harmonious melodies of birdsong and the gentle calls of grazing cows. The member, whose name is Anastasios, is a very handsome young Greek man. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel safe and well cared for. Not only did he help us with every need, but he also recommended the best local food, guided us to nearby shops, and even remembered our favorite dishes. This place is a paradise for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, and avid hikers who enjoy deep exploration. Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location room had all what was needed. Superb breakfast, amazing self made jams, yoghurt, granola and more! A lovely clean, quiet hotel. The were wonderful. Very friendly and when we arrived late, kept kitchen open for dinner. A lovely breakfast with fantastic home made cake. The bathroom was tiled with local stone and slate - gorgeous. Would love,to go back soon.
