This travel bureau also has hiking maps for the dolomites and Bolzano maps. The specialize in for the immediate area of Bolzano and it's surroundings. Many many pamphlets, maps, exhibition information, event calendars ,hotel info , restaurant info in FREE!!!!!!!!!!! Yes FREE!!!!!!!!! You can also purchase more detailed maps and guide books but definitely speak with the very very friendly and knowledgeable staff first. If you are very lucky, this lovely lady pictured will be the one to assist you in your planning!!!---------- see picture! Recommended----GO, before you start exploring. This office will definitely make things easier for you. ENJOY Very friendly and staff. It's far better to talk to humans than getting advice only from Google. For ages ago the town wan an attractive place for tourists. The town is full with refugees everywhere. We will not visit Bozen any more. A shame for a such beautiful town. Arriving in Bolzano for the first time? English spreakers will give you maps of hiking trails, bus system, and a place to purchase a weekly transportation pass good on buses, trams, and two of the town's ski lifts. Very nice people, and available. Lots of reading materials available for many languages. Dont forgot to get your welcome present if you are staying in a hotel. Staff were and friendly. It’s a very busy tourist info center with many visitors. You can buy the MuseuMobil card here, I purchased for €30 for three days which saved me a lot of money as I spent two days in the Dolomites region further north and took multiple regional trains. Ask them for more if you need help with your trip, be prepared with what you’re going to ask as well as they are busy people! Lots of brochures and guides in the centre which you can take. Bozen war eine Enttäuschung! Überlaufen, laut, schmutzig, super touristisch und auf Kommerz ausgelegt. Alles was an Kulinarik geboten wird, gibt es im ländlichen Raum in besserer Qualität und geringeren Preis. Insgesamt kein Besuch wert. As a tourist center, it's spacious... The staff was super friendly and knows the situation not only about bolzano, but also towns around it! We got many usefel extra tips regarding trekking and cable cars. We are planning to stay in Bolzano ( in July) and hike in the Dolomites. We sent an email to this office to ask for information. Signora Serena Maggi replied to us with A LOT of detailed and useful information. We hardly wait to travel to Bolzano , visit the city and do a lot of hikes and , also to go to the tourist office and meet and thank Ms Maggi in person. She is a good ambassador for the city of Bolzano. Very very friendly and the provided was to the point. Extremely helpful. Do pay a visit here once if you plan on undertaking any of the hikes/treks to the Italian Alps from Bolzano. on public bus/train services which take you to these points may not be available on Google but you can get them here. Maps can also be purchased and they are quite Great place to start knowing more about the region! Klaus gave us a lot of very useful for what we needed, clarifying some questions we had! Go to this place if you need info about the region! Extremely staff. Called a few places for us to assist with the language barrier and gave great recommendations. Very with my questions. I do not speak Italian but that was no problem. The lady who helped me was excellent in English.
