Huge outdoor museum with lots of old (but restored) buildings. Living history. Some small animals (horse, pigs, ...) on the way. The complete walking distance is around 3,2 km. Have good shows. Path is either made of concrete or gravel. The buildings are embedded in the countryside, much forest and green nature. Beautiful. Recommended for children (there is even a huge playground). It's never crowded and that's why I recommend it if you're looking for some me-myself-and-I time! Cool houses from old 1900 and up. My fam isn't in to that kind of stuff. But for me historically it's really interesting. Open air museum with machinery and farms, a school, housing and a church. Basically a small settlement or village as the more modern term is. Really fun if your into it and it's good weather. Side note - it's the Ardennes so take hills into account ;) We found out the park was closed when we were there. They could have posted that info somewhere (preferably google) so it would have spared us the trip. I absolutely loved it. The place is very peaceful but so educational. You really get to see how things worked. We came with a 3 and a 7 year old and they both loved it. Very impressed with the price as well. A big thank you from us! Brilliant place to visit.
