Clean ...nice for a short walk .. but not so much to see .. .. Animal farm+ great for kids. We were in between gites with some time to spare so came to a Gibier. It’s like an animal farm +, as in it has all the you would expect in an animal farm (rabbits, chicken etc) and than some large like different type of deer and boar. The grounds are big and allow for a good hike. They also have a restaurant and multiple playgrounds for kids of different ages. The signs explaining what type of you’re looking at come in three languages: Dutch, English and French—each sign telling you a slightly different story, making for an interesting read if you’re tri-lingual and a confusing one if you’re not. It you did not like the live, you can buy a dead stuffed version at the exit. A weird but worthwhile experience, if you’ve got some time to kill with kids. A fellow caravaner mentioned this place so we decided to check it out set on the side of a wooded valley which is ideal if it's hot nice and cool under the trees, could be a bit difficult if you are bad on your legs. Deer, goat, fox, wild boar, hens, hare's,rabbits & peacocks which children would enjoy there is also a cafe. Nice animal park, good for kids and you can walk in the same area as the deers and wild boars. Please let them quietly do their thing. It would be nice if there were also wolves and/or bears for example, or other different animals. Nice with quite a few wild animals. The walk takes you through the forest, a bit of a difficult path sometimes, but definitely worth it! Due to the mating season of the deers, a big part of the was closed. Not very good maintained. Quiet and nice place to have a drink. The has about a dozen parking places and you can have something to eat & drink. Some of the parts of the should be repaired or replaced. To see local in their natural habitat. Be aware that you can enter some parts that are territory of the animals. (And you can leave them accordingly). So observe their signals well, especially if they have youngs or in winter when they are not so used to tourists. So behave quiet and retreat quietly if needed. You learn to visit and live with animals, not against them.
