A Haven & bigger than had originally pictured. There is a choice of Caravans on-site, mind you, if you are allocated one right at the bottom of the site, it's a walk up to the main buildings & entertainment centre. Reception is efficient when required; the food outlets on are OK, with delivery to the Caravans for some; the entertainment options should be able to please most visitors & the Arcade is a magnet for those wishing to have a bit of fun. An outdoor play area is available & well maintained as are the inside & outdoor pools & well used too. A 10 minute walk into Burnham if required. Worth a repeat visit? Yes. A decent haven, not the largest arcade compared to some of the other haven sites but still Good. The events team were brilliant. is having some work done so not everything was open but we enjoyed our time. Great holiday park,as you would expect from haven, everything on site. adequate for a saver, all utensils provided. Great fishing lakes, can't wait to come back next spring. Only 13 minutes walk from the town, with pubs and eating places. 😄😄😄 Absolutely amazing holiday park. I'll start with the downside... The cleaners need to get their act together. Our inventory clearly hadn't been done as we were missing so many kitchen items. Eg, 8 birth caravan, only 4 glasses, 6 dinner plates, not enough forks etc. and what was left in the kitchen was very dirty. However we reported this, and the mouldy sofabed as soon as we arrived and these were replaced/replenished within 30 minutes. But, the park is wonderful, we were nice and close to the complex center. The entertainment complex was a great size. Although we did still struggle to find a seat if arriving late. The entertainment was great. Food outlets great. Short walk to the beach. Lovely walk around the lake. The swimming pool was lovely, but a little cold. Overall a wonderful holiday and I will be returning. The has the usual holiday features. But we just have the saver van, we're not into arcades etc The van we were given has no radiators but it has a heater in the main room and a fan heater in all the bedrooms. It is also very spacious, so more than happy with it. There's a lot going on around the site, and our was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful, only downside for me was the distance from the was 3/4 of a mile from the centre, and paying 6 pounds for a pint was expensive You can of course nitpick when a is as big as this, but should you? Yes of course you should. We’ve been a few times over the years and it’s definitely declining. Cleanliness is paramount and in this regard the is failing terribly. I’m not going to detail everything here, your imagination will do. The cleanliness the broken bits of caravan…it’s shameful, windows not opening, extractor fans that sound like chainsaws, dirt, mould. It’s depressing and a holiday shouldn’t be. A once great run into the dirt. Caravans are ok. However, their ability cater for disables customers leaves a lot to be desired. Footpaths blocked by caravans, no additional space with a disabled parking space. Forced to pay a premium for a close to a road to accommodate wheelchair access. The park was a little hit and miss, arrived onsite and the was locked, had to pop back to security who sorted it out fairly quickly. When we got into the it was very nice, we had to unbox the toaster first as it was new in the box left on the counter top, we then went to put the shopping away in the fridge/ freezer and they weren't even on so had to switch them on after hunting for the isolation switch in the cabinet. The only other issue we had was a leaking roof/ roof vent, had to put a bucket under the roof vent to stop the floor getting soaked. Not too sure about the arcade payment system, you add money onto a card and the money is converted into credits, seems to be that the usual £1 games are now £1.20 in credit value and my daughters card was charged twice. On the positive the pool was very clean, staff were very and couldn't fault that. Always found a space in the evening (club house) and the family enjoyed the interactive quiz on the app on the last night. All in all we had a time, we didn't pay a fortune so can overlook a lot of the issues that popped up. Wouldn't be very impressed if we had paid a lot of money though. Amazing weekends here on Heaven Holiday Not much care taken over cleaning of caravans. Our last three days of a 14 day stay we have been treated to the noise of a large inbred family taking up multiple caravans who think it is perfectly normal to get embarrassingly drunk and sit outside until gone 5am arguing over who gets to sleep with their youngest sister. I would never recommend this dump.
