And more wows what a lovely place to have a meal. At 1st I didnt want to go there. A friend told me to try it. I went there every day for a week and tried different meals and couldn't fault any of them. Really meals, id give it a 10 star if I could. Was verbaly attacked by a man who did not like me asking to keep his dogs away from my dog as she does not like other dogs in her face. The man was very nasty pointing his finger in my face shouting and swearing at me. He thought he could intimidate me because i was female, how wrong he was. He just showed himself up for the bully he was, he and his wife and 2 dogs left very quick , I don't know I'd he was asked to leave. I would not use the pub again. When ever I'm in Brean I always visit this place, they do a full English also with a pot of tea in the morning and it's well priced beer. Graham Gold place to watch sport grate atmosphere Food was service at bar was fast I had a breakfast, 1xegg 1x bacon 1x sausage 1slice of fried bread and mushrooms, I could have had beans but I didn't want them, and a cup of tea £7.45, which I thought was a fair price, the food was delicious and served quickly even though it was busy, it was very noisy inside and I found it hard to hear or have a conversation, it was very close inside making it hard to use my folding mobility scooter customer's would move but the weren't very helpful, condements were hard to comebuy and didn't offer any or see if there was anything else I needed when they brought my food over, I'm not a dog person and didn't like dog's being inside the restaurant and being very noisy, the disabled toilet was very hard to get into and there was no hand soap or dryer or hand towels to dry your hands, nice outside seating area but you have to take into account people are smoking but still a nice outside area. But on our recent visit, we asked if they would show F1 live. oh yes, they said come on in we thought till Swansea v cardiff football and all 6 or seven tv screens where changed to football the same game . They wouldn't change one screen back .so as a group, we will give crackers bar a miss and wish it all the worst for the future 😢 😞 😕 Best prices for the family when your down Brean, lovely food, family friendly, dog place, are very welcoming, atmosphere. I only rate the food 2 stars as I in work a and there is not alot of selection but it's OK to have a munch, drinks and is great, right next door to the arcade, so if you lose/ win in the arcade you got next door to celebrate or down your sorrows lol Considering is at the seaside I was expecting high prices for food and drinks but everything is cheap and the food, wow. Just nice and tasty and huge quantity too😁 Couldn't ask for a better place food is brilliant and well priced same for the beer also dog which is 10/10 If you order food from here it takes them 2 & half hour for them to served you and then my food was stoned cold and the other side we order had a hair in the egg in a breakfast we ordered. Very poor service. Tables were not clean properly. I was scared to eat there to be honest. Be very careful if anyone decides to go here to eat in this place!!! Come here everytime we're down this way and love the atmosphere, all are polite and friendly. Came in yesterday lunchtime (25/08) horrendous tasting gravy and service not great, when complaining people just seemed to have a bad attitude. Have previously ate here a couple of years ago and been happy but after this visit we won’t be returning. 2 of us have woken up this morning with sickness and diarrhoea but obviously can’t 100% say it was from here but I have my strong suspicions because we were the only 2 who had beef, everyone else Turkey. Live music at weekends. location are very polite and welcoming, beautiful and a outside seating area and a verity of beers for fair prices, would recommend if you come to Brean As a family we went to brean and decided to have lunch here. The food was absolutely delicious and the were very and helpful. We had the broccoli and leek cheese bake and it was so filling. We definitely will be back. Girl behind the meat counter couldn’t crack a smile. Worst I’ve possibly ever had. Dry crusty end bit of beef, other meats just as bad. Veg sitting in water. Stuffing was dryer than the Sahara. The gravy was the worst I’ve ever had, tasted like it had brovil in it, so strong and so so sickly. Due to all of this nobody in my family (about 8 of us) could finish the roast dinner. Complained and a young girl came out saying how her nan makes the gravy and ‘people around here like strong gravy’. No sorry, nothing. My sister in law got half refunded but me, my partner and child got nothing, strange? Won’t be coming here again.
