Schloss Agathenburg

Stade, Germany Museum

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Nice place to visit. Lots of activities for kids. I do recommend to visit. Very nice park next to that. Great place for coffee and cake. Gets very full at weekends but they do all they can to find space for you. Toller Kunsthandwerker-Markt zu Weihnachten! Nice quiet place to spend an hour or two in the outskirts of Hamburg. Unless you are visiting for a performance or an exhibition, the inside of the Schloss would be uninteresting. That is because it is only a part restoration following a fire. But the outside is really nice and quiet. Kids would love to run around in the woods and near the pond with ducks. Can drive there, or take S-Bahn from Hamburg. Only 5 mins from the tiny station. Schloss can be misunderstood as castle or palace. It happens just to be a middle size land house. Agathenburg Castle was built by Hans Christoph von Königsmarck immediately after the Thirty Years' War. For him, the village of Lieth, as it was called at the time, The Agathenburg castle now serves as a cultural center...and it is surrounded with a very nice garden.and back side has very wide park. This small castle burnt down to the grond and was rebuilt in 2013. There are expositions but aside from these there is little to see inside as there is hardly any furniture or objects. There is information about the history of the family that owned the castle. This is supplemented with historical backgrounds (like the 30 Years War). Interesting, but the context was not always clear. Visitors can stroll through the park around the castle. Interesting place. To be more precise, it was a house for holidays in XII century. Sehr interessante schloss, hat eine interessante geschichte und befindet sich im land.Auch die häuser drumherum geben einem gute eindruck wie damals in der schloss gelebt hat.Schones platz! Beautifull and quiet place to visit Super Ist ein schönes Schloss The garden is amazing but the interior is meh Nice and quiet place Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
