Schöner Ort für eine Kaffeezeit und einen kleinen Spaziergang The most Easterly in Ireland! There is a decent sized free car park and picnic benches ( with built in bbq grills) As we were visiting on Halloween, didn't take advantage of these, rather had a little walk around to admire the views. Lovely part of coastline and we enjoyed the drive alongside it to reach this point, so worth the drive to this point. A lovely location at the eastern most of Northern Ireland. The views are very nice on a good day and there is plenty of wildlife to be see both on the shoreline and out at sea. The sea on our visit was crystal clear and the area very clean and well maintained. There are a number of interesting information boards in the car park / picnic area, There is plenty of free parking and toilets nearby. The actual most eastern is not in the car park but five minute walk away on the headland. This is marked by signs too. Overall it is suitable for most mobilities. I would recommend visiting here. A lovely place with good weather, beautiful colours of the sea. We went to catch some crabs and they were velvet and bread specious. It is said that it’s the most easterly place of the country. It’s worth mentioning that the toilet facilities are surprisingly clean compare to its peers. Free car park, toilets nearby, we stopped off for our picnic lunch, picnic tables ,small harbour, chatted to some fishermen, nice break . Not much to see but it was nice on a sunny day Nice enough. Plenty of parking. Lovely spot for a picnic, can be cool if the wind is coming off the sea Visit here nearly everyday for a swim when there's a Full Tide most cleanest pier I've ever swam at great for jumping in too Bought fish and chips from Ballywalter and drove here to sit and eat them and to take in the scenery. Often sit here. Its a busy little bay in the summer. There are nice clean toilets across the road too The carpark and statue are not at the most easterly point. Walk beyond them, down a boreen of nice houses to a little grassy near right at the sea. There is a little metal pole that marks the true spot there. Car parking facilities are good but not much ado about the place like there is in Malin and Mizen heads. The town nearby is quite dead too. Gorgeous area, perfect for a stroll, spot of fishing or just chilling Wild and windy day, the shore birds were cute. Love the stone lavs built into the fences. Fantastic place for a walk, it is well worth continuing round the coast for rock pools and the views! There are also a fine selection of wild flowers that I haven't seen elsewhere Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
