Good friendly employees Cartagena it is a very beautifull place of Spain that you need to visit when you are in the area....to stay a weekend is a litle bit to much, because in only one day you will have enough time to see everything! but I recommend going to see it.. I don't speak great Spanish but I did my best to be as polite as possible. We went there end of April, there was only few people in the city, no tourist. When we arrived to the office du tourisme we were the only one, there was no shelve with tour guides only 2 desk with 2 women. These women didn't speak english, Frenc, ... only spanish, I though Cartagena was an important place with big boat full of tourists. We finally managed to receive a small card with all the thing to see around but no explanation. Sad to see how the tourists are received in this city. We got a map with all relevant places to visit and information about their opening times and prices for many of them. Useful to plan your visit.
