Im August war das Wasser ziemlich mit Algen belastet. Es ist eine kleine Liegewiese vorhanden. Es sind ebenfalls eine Dusche und Toiletten vorhanden. Direkt am Weiher ist ein Restaurant. Dort kann man vom Biergarten aus auf den Weiher schauen. Als wir im August an einem Sonntag Nachmittag da waren hat es keinen Eintritt gekostet. Es sind auch etliche Parkplätze vorhanden. Die kosten in der Haupt Saison 3 Euro, das ist OK. A nice pond close to the woods,woth cleanish water that it's safe to swim in. Fun for kids, and grown ups too. Close by there is a restaurant with decent food, beer and ice-cream. There are a lot of free parking spaces, and there are also showers and toilets. They charge 1 eur for each person, I believe it's because of corona tracking needs (when paying, you must fill in a form with contact tracing info.). All in all, a nice place to take a break from the city, and not as crowded as Langener Waldsee. Immer wieder schön, der Rundgang um den Hattsteinweiher herum. The water level is seperated in zones so it is also okay for non swimmers because there is safe line after which a depth of more than 1.39m starts.
