Interesting rock formation, good for beginners to learn rock climbing. The forest and field paths around are great for Spazierengehen. nice place for free climbing or a nice hike in the nature There are eyelets everywhere on the steep face for mountaineering beginners or just for fun. Makes something pictorial and the environment is also very nice. There is also a parking lot nearby (5min walk). Dramatic rocks surrounded by dense, cool forests with numerous hiking paths of all categories(Easy, Intermediate and Hard). Sufficient parking area, scenic plains and good picnic spots make this a favorite area of families. Highly recommended! Two surprising rock formations close to Frankfurt. Unfortunately the formations are really small, some 100 meters each, so if you are not into climbing and just into enjoying the views and hiking around, you will be disappointed. There are forest roads you can walk around, but nothing spectacular to see apart from the formations A small but nice place. Maybe sometimes overcrowded. Thankfully there's enough parking space. What's missing are litter bins. So unfortunately there are people obviously not willing to grap their garbage, carry it home to dump it there. Personally I hate such people.
