Right next to Corni Di Canzo. Beautiful place with friendly staff, good food and drinks Sono stato presso questo rifugio 2 volte, di cui 1 per dormire. Per arrivarci bisogna fare 1.30-2h di cammino, da Valbrona, Valmadrera oppure da Canzo. La fatica viene ripagata non appena si arriva al rifugio, posto appena sotto le vette dei Corni, con davanti tutto il ramo lecchese del Lario, con vista fino a Bellagio e fino a Menaggio. E' possibile inoltre mettersi con i teli sull'enorme prato dell'area circostante. Il rifugio presenta un bagno comune e varie camerate con balcone in comune, adibite prettamente per dormire. I camerieri sono mediamente cordiali, alcuni sì altri meno. Nonostante fossimo venuti l'ultima domenica con tanto di prenotazione, al nostro arrivo erano già terminati vari piatti tra cui i taglieri, forse il pezzo forte del rifugio insieme alla torta casalinga. Decisamente bocciata la polenta, nella media la selvaggina. Vino della casa migliorabile. Le porzioni sono abbondanti ed il prezzo è decisamente contenuto. Consiglio questo posto specificamente per l'antipasto, il dolce e la meravigliosa vista. Noi siamo stati per il pranzo un sabato salendo da Canzo. Abbiamo preso solo un tagliere di ottimi salumi-formaggi e una fetta di torta. I piatti che ho visto passare erano tutti molto invitanti. Unica pecca il vino bianco sfuso, non proprio il massimo. Le persone che ci hanno servito, gentili e simpatiche. Low medium hiking. Great place for pic nic There is a restaurant in guest house and good place to rest and eat lunch. NOT Pet-Friendly! After 2 hours of tracking we had a reserved table for a lunch, but the dogs are not allowed in this place. As for me it's a shame and the first time I see in the mountain the dogs are forbidden to enter inside the restaurant. Obviously we would never leave them outside with that cold (2 degrees) , as some of the owners made with their poor Jack Russell as in the picture. For me it's not acceptable at all. So we turned back to the city for a lunch. We will never come back again in Rifugio SEV and I don't recommend to choose this place if you have a dog, even a puppy. The hike is definitely worth the view.
