Great get away from Milano, just an hour drive and you are in the middle of nature. The ski lift is easily accessible with a paid parking just on the entrance. You pay 4€ per day for parking. The lift cost 13€ onward and return. to visit in both summer and winter. A small park with slides and a tube to slide as attraction for kids. Nice one day trip. If you like trekking you will enjoy as well. I recently visited the pianoDipobio ski resort and was thoroughly impressed. The facilities were immaculate, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The ski were well-maintained, providing excellent conditions for both beginners and experienced skiers. The apres-ski activities were also top-notch, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. I highly recommend pianoDipobio to anyone looking for a memorable ski experience. place to visit even during summer. Great playground for with various wooden activities and a long tyre slide. Only one restaurant though. Beautiful views and walks. Very nice getaway with kids. There is space for a simple hiking, you can rent a hike for and a space for to play wooden toys. Make sure to have 2€ coin to buy a little ball for that they'll need for playing the wooden toys. I like this place SO Muuuch!!! The most wonderful view I’ve been ever seen! It's easy to get there from Milan: first by train to Lecco, then by bus to Barzio, take the funicular up and that's it! There are cafe at the top, various playgrounds, and most importantly - such beautiful views. And it's also quite quiet and cozy Not the biggest sky resort but fun and very well maintained (artificial snow cannons everywhere). It is just 1hr drive from Como and 20mins from Lecco! There are plenty of ski rentals, for beginners, ski schools and restaurants. Just a couple of black pistes. If you are an advanced skier maybe I wouldn't spend the entire day there. I’d highly recommend Piani di Bobbio. It’s a small resort, which is easy to access from Milan, Bergamo or Lecco and offers a nice day on the slopes. Is it the best skiing? Probably not. Is it for super experienced skiers? Probably not. It has a mix of beginner and easy intermediate slopes, however its black are not enormously challenging or technical. The runs (with the exception of the ones to Valtorta) are pretty short but that does have the benefit of allowing you to get more in. It’s a fairly low resort and as a result we encountered some bleak weather, however it was mid March when we visited so we were just amazed that there was any snow at all. The resort has a pretty local feel, it was mostly Italians and day trippers from Milan and the prices for hire, ski pass and even food on the mountain were pretty affordable. As others will say, transport to Barzio from Lecco isn’t the best (however there are day transfers from Milan) so I would recommend either staying in the village or taking a car if you want to make the most of the skiing. Parking is affordable at the Gondola station (€5 a day) but it does fill up, there is free parking around the village and it’s connected by bus. Great place near Milan for skiing! Train to Lecco then bus to Bazio then walk to cable car. were suitable for beginners! Cable car and ski rentals were expensive. + very close to Milan (about an 1.15 mins) + Easy Access + Beginner friendly + Easy rentals.etc - Few lifts - Likited options for advanced skiers. - Older facilities Overall wxperience. Enjoyed a nice day skiing with the kids. The day I visited felt lucky because it had snowed just the day before, making the place even more beautiful. I highly recommend visiting with friends—whether it's just for sightseeing, trekking in the snow, or even skiing. However, be mindful if you're planning a weekend trip, as it tends to get crowded. And if you're coming from Milan, be prepared for traffic on your way back! Perfect day-trip on a weekday. I often come here in winter but it was my first time in summertime and it was worth it. 2 families, 3 and we all enjoyed! The “activity park” just at the exit of the lift is amazing and all for free (except 2€ to buy a ball which works on all the games) and the surprisingly expensive toboga rides. With a little walk you can reach several “rifugi” for lunch. The lift is a bit expensive - 18€ pp, fee for - and the parking was for free, not sure if also during weekends. Approved and recommended! Really , nice , nice activity, close to Milano , easily accessible , really for family and groups, prices . I would definitely recommend Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
