The place from the outside it looks quite ugly and old but after you get inside the things are different. You have plenty of space for parking inside the old brewery court yard. Inside there is plenty of space for a handful of people and the is awesome. You can obviously see that they care about what they are doing there and are treating the guests with kindness and respect. The enjoyed the visit (3-4 years old) and were treated kindly. The focus is around you feeling good and having an enjoyable time and the help you with handling the science tools when needed and you don't feel them on your back. At the end there is also a very fun and interesting science demonstration that the should definitely not miss. There are also some science items that you can buy at the end. We will definitely return! Fantastic place, just amazing! You can spend at least half a day there without getting bored, both and adults. there is very kind and supportive, passionat about what they are doing. Their enthusiasm is like a magnet, bringing you closer to science. DO NOT miss this place if visiting Turda, is 7☆! Very friendly staff, some cool mechanisms and ideas to try and examine. A pity that the miniature trains weren't working, but not a problem. Ah and there was a 10min show with targeting the in the audience, which was also a nice addition. Amazing place to go with your kids. Be sure to ask when's the next live lesson which includes fun experiments. I'd recommend to go if you are in the area. Be sure to visit also the miniature trains section. Located in the building of an old beer factory, which is in itself a place to see if passing through Turda, this "science factory" is a great place for the to have some of their first in physics. Thus, they will understand more about gravity, optical illusions, sound or the atmosphere, all in a playful manner. Most adults will also enjoy the that they should have done in high school but probably skipped at the time. The space is quite roomy and there are many things to see and test so it does not feel crowded even during weekends. The is really friendly and passionate about the place they have set up, providing interesting explanations, often with some good humour. Compared to other museums, this place is much more interactive and the spent 2 hours of fun. It was more than a year ago, but I can still remember, that it was fantastic. Well worth even a detour. 3 Michelin stars equivalent, and it's not even food. You will have so much fun, you will completely forget about food. Very good organisers. Clean, nice, kept up, there are toilets on the premise and souveniers and so many interesting things, that your head will spin. Very nice Very funny and friendly guide, deserves an Oscar for his conducting skills. Also, we have been prior to this in Greece, Thessaloniki, at the Museum of Illusions, it doesn't even remotely compare to what we have witnessed here. The miniatures and trains exposition was a huuuge bonus. Totally recommend it, will revisit soon! Very entertaining, loved the experiments, with such a teacher I would have loved Physics 🤩, very kind hosts. Amazing for kids! Brilliant place to visit. We loved it and had a lot of fun! I also loved the care the team had for the customer - pics, telling us what and how to do stuff. It's not the Trick Eye Museum, but it could be. Definitely check it out! The big difference of this place compared to other famous scientific centers (like Copernicus from Warsaw or Palace of Wonders from Budapest) is the fact that the personnel explains to groups every panel/stand/experiment with simple words so every kid could understand. Three hours of total fun, my curiosity completely activated, the were so ingenious! It was an amazing learning experience, for me, an adult who had studied a lot of physics. The was awesome! The experience was carefully prepared and delivered. It was hard for me to leave the place and I look forward to introducing it to all my friends. We went to the museum with our 4 children not knowing what to expect and we were surprised to see how entertaining and mind blowing it was. Alexandra, our guide explained each section of the museum to us and she even run after us on the road to return our forgotten coats. Very friendly staff! The best surprise was the miniature modelling city at the end of our tour. Really worth a visit. After the visit you can eat at dana restaurant. Really yummy food. Or go to a play at the theatre nearby. There is also a park not far away. Plenty of stuff to do that area. There is also a gorgeous church : saint mihail and Gavril. Turda really impressed us in general. Very friendly people. Mostly in their local food market.
