The food is amazing, always fresh and tasty and also the coffee is good. However, there was only the terrace opened when we last visited. The staff told us the place is opened only outside, on the terrace and this is not ok when you eat in cigarettes smoke. The staff might be a bit sloppy and slow but other than this, the place is nice for small or large groups. We loved this place so much, we returned here several times during our stay in Cluj. Nice "beer garden" vibes, delicious food and generous portions. The huge Papanasi took us by surprise and we loved it! The steak is not a real steak. Feels more like a diagragm but still very tasty Overall a experience with as the staff is very friendly Prices are maybe the best you will find downtown Cluj, and there's lots to choose from. Every time I've visited this summer, whatever I ordered exceeded my expectations. It's refreshing to have a place in the center where you can enjoy extraordinary dishes like traditional Romanian tripe soup or perfectly grilled mititei. They even serve an outstanding steak with truffle-infused mashed potatoes — simply fantastic! As for drinks, whether I ordered a lemonade, a glass of wine, a cocktail, or a local or international beer, everything was perfect! What’s amazing is that while the place initially gives off a "student vibe," the is top-notch, something rare to find in many places around Cluj. Honestly, this place has definitely been the surprise of the year for me in Cluj. Thank you for a wonderful evening:) Another old town place hidden well between the shadows. The outside part is a bit too cold in the winter Shadow has to be one of my favourite places in Cluj, being in the middle of the city, this is a very affordable place if you’re just looking for a quick lunch or dinner, prices aside (because we go out to dinner to enjoy and relax not to be obsessed with pricing), the atmosphere, inside and outside of this restaurant is incredible, staff is some of the friendliest you’ll meet in central Cluj. Because shadow in the evening is particularly busy, the food is constantly fresh, I recommend schnitzel Palermo with a side of garlic sauce, you’ll never order anything else, but of course all their other dishes are great, I highly recommend this restaurant to be your first stop while in our beautiful city, 🇷🇴 I also recommend Visiting upstairs, it’s the door immediately to the right after you enter, there is a bar area and many tables if outside is busy, cheers ! The place is absolutely awesome and it's also opened ever since my oldest friends started hanging out back when they were in highschool. Needless to say we still frequent it often. The terrace is thight packed and usually filled even during the week. Yet it's one of the best places to hang out in the center of the city, especially during these times. The program is also very nice, staying out late is definitely an option. The food is also top notch and the portions are good. The food is very good, there is a variety of dishes and there are options for everyone at a very price for its location. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very youthful. Snitzel Palermo is the go to option if you don't know what to eat but all of the food is awesome. Really music and the coolest decor. The waiters are really friendly and always take care of you.
