Four stars because of a significant lack of toilets which are actually open. We only found one open toilet on a car park otherwise its into the bushes. Otherwise this is a very nice place to visit and I’m sure when the cafe is open it’s even nicer. Ample car parking but we visited in early October so in high summer it might get crowded. Nice place for activities, if you have yours and swim. The is not very clean though. Very nice swimming option. You can only swim in the southern part, but many different beaches are available. The northern part is for other activities. If you're with kids, please go all the way to the south for the play section and relax while they have fun. We spent 2.5 hrs in our kayak, rowing around the lake. It's so perfect. Went on a beautifully hot summer’s day on the recommendation of a local man. The was refreshing, but not chilly. A full range of people were there. Lots of parking but it fills up in the afternoon. WC at car parks. Grassy areas to sunbathe with trees for shade. A wonderful place to relax. Busy in the afternoon - hence 4 stars. good hiking around the lake, during summer its amazing we had a blast there with our dog! it says its not allowed for dogs but there were many playing in the water, so it was perfect! 10/10 Beautiful lake, wonderful nature. Hiking trails all around it, places to bath.. you can get ice cream, food or drinks on several places around it. Parking space is easy to find. Don't like lakes?
