Wir waren 2006 mal da, es war echt beeindruckend und auch irgendwie bedrückend, trotzdem kann ich jedem einen Besuch empfehlen. Wir haben eine Führung mit einem Adjutanten vom Belgischen Militär in Anspruch genommen, die Führung war auf Französisch und Deutsch. Er hat viel zur Technik erzählt und über die Kämpfe am und dazu noch ein paar lustige Anekdoten. Man kann auch (damals zumindest) die Außenanlagen besichtigen. Klare Empfehlung von mir BON! Our Dutch guide was fantastic, full of knowledge about the fort’s history, and made the visit really engaging. We all enjoyed it and learned so much. What makes it even more special is that the people who run the tours are all volunteers – their passion and dedication show how much they care about this place. If you love history, this and its museum are a must-see! An incredible place for those interested in WWII history. We were lucky enough to have Phillipe as our guide. He shows a lot of interest and knowledge and seems to love what he does, which makes the even more incredible. A great day and an incredible experience for sure.
