Honestly, this was the best meal my boyfriend and I have had in a long time. Not just in Montenegro, but compared to many other countries, this food stands out as exceptional. The view was breathtaking, the kind that makes the experience unforgettable. Just for information - Road to get to restaurant is actually quite sketchy. Basically along the cliff edge. We ordered the beef cheeks and the pork ribs in cream sauce, both dishes were flawless. The beef was tender, succulent, and fell apart with every bite. The pork was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Maria, the chef, clearly cooks with love and passion and you can taste it in every mouthful. Our experience could not be better. I would like to highlight that we arrived later than expected, and the owner always made us feel comfortable about the check in indications . The accommodation is just fantastic, great bungalow for a couple, even with a kid for the additional bed. Toilet and kitchen well equipped, and everything super clean. The place is in the middle of nature , exactly what we wanted. The road to arrive is not as bad as I read in other comments, and we came in the middle of the night. Last but not least , breakfast was outstanding. More than recommended to enjoy a lovely stay in the beautiful Montenegro, close to Dumitor. The view and service were excellent but, we were not impressed too much by the food. It was ok but I would not rate it as excellent. We had veal and steak and šopsky salad. Veal was overseasoned and a bit veiny with very small amount of mashed potatoes. Steak was a bit gummy, harder to cut (I did not get steak knife). It was a big portion of meat though, with very small amount of mashed potatoes. I am no expert on food just....we already had better food for the prize here in Balkan. :-( We just spent 4 amazing nights at this magical place with my family. The views were stunning, out of this world, the cabin was super cozy and the breakfast included with our stay was very authentic, delicious and nutritious. The owners and all the people who worked at the village were absolutely super friendly, and caring. Our kids had so much fun at the trampoline and the playground. The restaurant is open all day long, serves reasonably priced delicious traditional menu items and drinks. They have everything you need and more 😇💫 An absolutely stunning place. Amazing views, great food. The houses are all wood and very cosy. The location is perfect for trips around (hiking, canyoning). The owners, a beautiful family, go beyond to make sure you are happy. I had a serious back injury when there and they helped me tremendously (including carrying me around). Good genuine caring people. Do not miss this place when in Montenegro! We ate at the restaurant here last night and the food and service was excellent. We had the platter with their homemade sausage, beefsteak, veal, pork ribs, and trout. We couldn't decide which was our favorite. Recommend getting here early and having some drinks outside first. The owners say nearly all of their food comes from the farmers in the village.
