We had lunch here on our way from the monastery back to Kotor. The lovely gentleman looked after us very well. He recommended lamb and veal. Huge portions. It was very relaxing and since it wasn't too busy, we were in no rush. It is located next to a souvenir shop. We had seen bus loads of tourists stopping by here, so I suspect it could get really busy. Anyway, our experience of Montenegro hospitality in this was wonderful, so we will give credit when it is due. We came with a group therefore we didnt choose meal from menu. Lamb with potatoes were good, simple, but good. The staff is unfriendly and nervous, the service at the place is very bad. Spacious place with enough tables. Unnecessary waiting for coffee and pancake Blintzes, finally arrived with one gram of chocolate. Must be efficient. Nice next to Ostrog monastery. You can stop drinking and eating something before/after visiting the monastery. The team knows a bit of English. The area is beautiful with the mountains around. They brought us not what we ordered. Price for meals was equal so I gave up and eat what I got, cuz our bus was leaving soon. And it is impossible to call the waiter, so much people dining, all waiters just say: yes, one moment and rush through. The grilled fish was fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. What really stood out were the amazing waiters — super friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The only thing I’d suggest is to include a sauce or dip on the side — the fish was great, but a little extra flavor would have made it perfect. Still, a wonderful experience overall. Pljeskavica was super flavourful, perfect after-Ostrog meal 👏🏻 very filling/generous portion What a great place to enjoy a nice hot coffee (local style cooked on the stove) on your way to Ostrog Monastery. The place is majestic place relaxing, comfortable and their menu is generous + delicious. Really tricky place for tourists. Some of the waiters are sneaky, they are charging higher prices than shown on the menu although the food is already really expensive and they lie the card terminal is not working. When we said we don't have money the terminal magically worked all of a sudden. Avoid this place at any cost. As others have said, a bit of a tourist trap. The food is fine but really not worth the money and they try to upsell you, charge more than listed on the menu, charge for extras you didn't ask for. We ordered breaded chicken, after the waiter tried to insist we take a lamb kebab, and then what came was a plain grilled chicken without any salad. Toilets very unclean. Not to be avoided at all costs, and I'm glad we did eat there after a long drive, but not somewhere I can thoroughly recommend. They make money from tourists buses and a lack of choice not by being a great Dining Experience. We ordered mix meat and half of the meat was just fat&bones. Turkish cofee was unejoyable, taste was like 15 times used cofee filter. This was our second time here after 3years, nothing has changed. Look after what you order. What an experience! I've never seen a with such a fascinating interior. I love love love the XXL fireplace and all the wood. The waiter is a sweetheart, an extremely kind and patient gentleman well dressed in a suit and you could see the pride he has for his work and workplace. We gave them a second chance, but nothing have changed since 3 years ago. Tables are dirty, they give you a basket of bread without asking, and then charge you 5€. Food flooded in oil and our turkish Coffee was undrinkable. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing again. The food is below average; even the ćevapi, a well-loved dish in Montenegro, was bland and poorly served. They try to upsell you on everything, including basics like ketchup. The customer service was unprofessional and unwelcoming, which is surprising for a place that serves so many tourists. To make things worse, the itself felt dirty and poorly maintained. We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others.. Don’t recommend eating here! Dirty and old place… my partner had food poisoning! Staff was nice. Its more expensive then in best restaurants in Podgorica that serve same type of food. I don't know where to start, everything is so phenomenal, food, staff, service, ambience, everything is beautiful Me and my family stopped by here and we couldn't pass it up, we were simply seduced by the look of this restaurant, the family and I ordered karadjordjeva, stuffed kebabs and meat meat. Everything was so good and the portions were generous, more than on the menu.
