Loads of facilities to use. Friendly staff. As usual brilliant I had a tour and told about the available I was impressed, have booked some classes.I have lung problems but are available that suit my limited mobility. I left feeling empowered first time I have felt like this is ages Thank you Louis for your help today. New review I joined Halo as a GP referral and it has changed my life. I attend Lewis's easy circuit course twice weekly. Lewis is so dedicated and helpful, he always has our planned, he checks on you if you have any problem doing the class and makes us all feel well cared for. I have made friends in my class and it has definitely improved my fitness and my mental health. I also do Toning machine classes. The machines move and you work with them. These have improved my joint mobility and Simone who runs the is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend the centre to anyone all the staff are lovely and helpful. Thank you Really nice place to go,classes are great and staff are helpful and friendly. You get 2 hours free parking from 10am to 4pm after 4pm it's free parking. Nice clean and warm with an area for under three’s and for older children. Plenty of seating and you can buy snacks and drinks and take them in. Good for kids parties with a party room on the first floor. Good fun, enjoyed the Fantastic place to spend the day. Free swimming! Who can complain about that. Staff are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoy taking the children there for numerous activities and events . And not too expensive, either. No where on the website does it state you need a padlock. So ended up not going the class I booked and paid over £9 for. Very disappointed and will never return. They only sell combination locks at £3.50 (over priced). And no I didn’t purchase one as I don’t know how to use one and would’ve never remembered the numbers anyway. Won’t be back. Also very scruffy and rundown exterior, graffiti everywhere. Kids running and screaming all over. Didn’t feel safe leaving my vehicle and didn’t feel safe myself. Visited for the fun time swim, lots of floats and the slide was fun for kids. Good value for an hour of and the car park is free for two hours when you are using the facilities which is great. Bring a padlock for the lockers as they don't have keys. You can purchase one from reception for £3.50 if you need one but you can bring towels and a bag onto poolside if you don't have one. Thank You and a Merry Christmas to one & all ! tidy, accessible, not expensive + good pool! POORLY MAINTAINED EQUIPMENT, COLD POOL, DIRTY SHOWERS. Three treadmills weren't working this morning but they weren't even marked as out of order. 🙄 One of the three step machines was out of order as well, which is common. The pool was COLD! 🥶 The lifeguard assured me it wasn't, but to me it felt colder than usual. Matter of opinion I suppose, and I feel the cold so try for yourselves. 🤷♀️ Showers in pool stunk of urine today! 🤢Maybe the impact of the school summer holidays? 🤨 Vile, though. The smelly drains have been a long standing problem. The cleaning standards are below par. Not worth the money. Great range of facilities that cater to all ages and abilities including pools, gym, toning suite, Spa, library, children’s soft play and wall climbing. On site cafe with plenty of seating and a good range of food and drinks that cater for some allergies. Has always been clean upon my visits. Lots of parking with ample disabled spaces. Access to free two hours parking if using the Halo facilities, otherwise pay and display with reasonable fees. Outside play park and fields with an athletics track. I go here for pokemon card club which is a great club but the pool Is mid because there's only slide but I had my lessons here when I was younger so 4 stars I just want to say a massive huge thank you to Tom at the Halo gym, I was referred by my Dr for sciatica and he was absolutely amazing. He was very considerate of my other health conditions and helped me at a manageable pace. Unfortunately I couldn't continue for personal reasons but would really like to thank him for giving me the confidence and for being patient and kind and he is very professional and knowledgeable. He is an absolute star Be really nice if someone could answer the phone so I could book a swim for myself and granddaughter, be very good if your sign up membership would accept my date of birth or post code,,,, CANNOT BOOK AN ACTIVITY ONLINE OR BY PHONE Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
