Best course in Wales a real test of links golf, right on the beach. Great old clubhouse, good food, inexpensive bar. Great views even with Port Talbot in the background. Has held Tiger Woods in the Walker Cup. Womens Open and Senior Open. In wonderful condition paths like green carpets. Bunkers are severe as you would expect from a top links course. Loved it. Great location’ Nice Area and Views, Superb Course alround🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⛳️🔥👌The No1 Course In Wales I’ve been Told👀🤔 And It Did Not dissapoint- Good Pro shop & staff; The Greens & fairways 10/10.. Front9 slightly Better’ But both 9’s Are Fantastic. A wonderful links golfing experience. It doesn’t get much better than this for links golf. The sun shone the sea glistened and the wind blew. The anticipation heightened as we ate our breakfast and the staff smile and couldn’t do enough for us. The club house is steeped in history and views from the bar are spectacular. The course is a challenge but in the wind it’s a battle. The greens are in great condition and the rough is just tough. Too tough for me but keeping out of it in the wind impossible. Loved it and will definitely be returning Possibly one of the best courses the UK has to offer. Sure, it's a bit steep for a green fee, but we'll worth it. Old school rules with excellent and personal service. Club members there that I spoke to we're extremely nice and welcoming. I'll definitely play here if I'm in Wales again One of the very best courses you can play anywhere. A proper test, even in relatively mild conditions, but fair and rewards good golf. Lovely clubhouse full of history. An amazing course in amazing condition with spectacular views. Worth every penny. Amazing course in great condition that came with its challenges! Lovely friendly staff and people and a really warm welcome. In fact that stood out the most for us, being one of the friendlies courses we have ever visited. Great traditional club house with its history. We had a drink on the terrace looking over at the stunning views of the coastline. Shame they had stopped serving food after lunch time. Otherwise we would have eaten there too. Still too early in the season I guess. Well worth a visit to play on this great course. A great day from arrival to exit. Took full advantage of the facilities, hit the range which offered plenty of variety to prepare you for what awaited. Staff were more than welcoming and accomodating throughout the day. As for the course, it was in immaculate condition. We played in quite testing conditions and felt fully immersed in the RPC experience. The course itself is enough to test all elements of your game, it's fair to say you need to plot your way around wisely to avoid the consuming Fairway bunkers and surrounding traps protecting the greens. 10/10 from me and I can't wait to return.
