While there we saw members of a running club, playing, people walking their dogs, training sessions etc. What a fab place to take the dog when it's raining some natural areas linked in with the cricket and grounds Cricket, tennis, athletics, football and pitches can be found here, plenty of room for to their sports or just to go for a lovely around the field’s and river, there is plenty of room for to run there is also a through the woods and across the river. The park has plenty to keep younger up to about 9yrs old occupied with swings, sand and a zip line. If your after a nice stroll that won’t be to taxing it’s a lovely place for it. Attended the for a white Ribbon event. Three events taking place altogether. 2 game and our white ribbon event. A lovely time in lovely surroundings. Great for a place to relax Beautiful place . How lucky are we ? Lots to do and see. Park at Halo or on near by streets. Grab a coffee in tennis club or coke drink at the cricket pavilion. Lots of dog walkers and playing on Sunday afternoon. It is a beautiful park with scenic walks and plenty of wildlife, squirrels, rabbits, etc. It is a great place for walking dogs. The Ogmore runs through the and there are picnic benches in areas. There are sport for cricket,rugby and football and a running track. The recreation centre has a swimming pool, gym equipment etc. Outdoor bowls and indoor bowls. There is a interesting mini stone henge. There is a small enclosed playground with swings, and equipment, etc, for younger to in. Nice playing for and dogs... Couple of little bays by the for to cool off during the summer. Little chrildrens playgorund. Beautiful place to with the and dogs. Everyone was socially distanced despite it being crowded. Great to see so many people enjoying the good weather and sticking to the rules at the same time. Most days I my in this beautiful area with different to choose from and a lovely walk. Weekends can be busy with rugby/football matches on but the clubhouse will be open on match days serving tea/coffee/burgers/bacon rolls This is about the upgrade area by Bridgend Recreation Centre The park is awesome lots for the to keep occupied And the additional seats brilliant for the adults The only down side is there is no shade! went on Tueaday with grandchildren it was a very hot day and had to leave early as no shade at all and all was hot + bothered I would have thought with all warnings about keeping safe in the sun something would have been put over the seating area and some of the equipment the were using.
