Beaucoup de chemins de randonnées sont possibles et ils sont tous bien indiqués. Quite nice for a hike about 1 hr from Paris. Mostly flat, with many trails for walking and biking. Hiking trails, caves and Rocks to climb are notable activities here. It is a good wild place overall. Don’t have pictures. If you are visiting Paris or live here, it’s an obvious destination when you need a break from the city. The forest can be easily reached by train from Gare de Lyon. There are many different trails from easy to hard. Hiking shoes recommended. Absolutely loved it! Full of big rocks to climb and play. Excellent for hiking, practice climbing for beginner, picnics, nice strolls. Kids love it. 😀 I walked from the Samois-sur-Seine village to the Fontainebleau station. There are trails to follow so don’t worry about that but beware the ground is full of pebbles. Couldn't be better.. Am not a hike but have become one after this visit..you need a car to reach it but once you get there it's heaven! Wonderful, Amazing forest!!
