I arrived and ordered ice tea and asked for ice it came without after asking twice more it arrived .the first impression is it's modern and clean with a atmosphere and the staff are friendly , some points should have been asked if I wanted chips or potatoes ( I actually wanted potatoes but got chips sent out because I wasn't asked ) I asked for a recommendation for a pudding and I chose the pine apple , the waitress went away and came back to say the pineapple was only served from Friday , so I ordered a waffle with strawberry and cream , the chef came out to say this was a seasons dish and the strawberrys weren't that at the moment , I asked him to choose something and I got the cookie parfait which was lovely .I think that there should be more communication between the waitresses and the kitchen staff , another thing that I didn't like was there were no priced on the drinks menu card and because I have a budget had to keep asking then they checked the till for the price. If these things happen when it's busy there could be a long wait , as it was my three courses came along at a good interval .on a positive note I couldn't fault the food it was delicious .and I felt comfortable to sit here as a woman alone , I thought I would treat myself because today would have been my mother's birthday but she's passed away and wanted to treat myself Chicken Satay was too cooked and had no flavor, spare rib was OK. We found this restaurant on social deal and the fork. They offer a menu for a good price. Portions aren't big, but if you take a 4 course meal, than you have more than enough. The tomato soup is very sweet. We prefer the mustard or courgette soup. Small but charming local place, lovely service and relaxed ambiance. its ok, but could be a lot better if they had better quality food. We had a brunch here and the food was good, the service was and also a place to have a chillax Saturday brunch.
