Very nice park. Lovely arrangement of houses in the park. Different types and styles are combined. It looks almost like a normal village/town. Houses are modern, tidy and well equiped. A lot of different playgrounds and activities for children are available. Very nice minigolf and football billiard. This is a very nice park. At the moment, it is still rather new, so there is bit a lot of green, but the houses are of high quality. They are quite large and look good. Some (all?) houses have a PlayStation and a sauna and bubble bath. The people are very friendly and do their best to help whenever they can. The pool is relatively simple with two slides, but it is nice and quiet. They are still developing part of the area. The camping is closed during winter, so I can't say much about that. There was some show during the night of our stay, with VERY loud music, drums and singing up to 3 AM Saturday night. The reception is closed and doesn't respond. Many people called the reception, police and complained, but no action was taken. Leistert responded by email next morning saying that it was not in there park, which is hardly true, as there's literally nothing around. But even if so, you have hundreds of disturbed visitors, some with and babies, you just close the reception and go for Saturday night? Unbelievable. None of us had any sleep. Very disappointed. Back at Buitenhof, and it's even better than before! We had an amazing time here in March, and now in October, the has made some fantastic improvements. There are several brand-new playgrounds for the kids, and they’re absolutely loving it! The variety of activities keeps them engaged for hours. The remains as fun and safe as ever, making it a perfect spot for families. It's great to see how they've enhanced the experience, and we’ll definitely keep coming back! We had a great time and would certainly plan again. Even though it was raining there is so much to do indoors. The warm Swimming Pool with a big slide is never ending fun for and also for adults. Had the worst vacation here with my family ever, the houses are great but the ammount of flies that surround the place is crazy. We later realised that the flies were horseflies because of the horse ranch across from the camping. We also asked for cocktails at the bar and we got mocktails. We went here with 2 teens (17-16) and 2 (11-6) the had the most fun because of the playgrounds and swimmingpool, but don't go here if you have teens because there are no accommodations for above 16. Yes there's special 12+ activities but teens need their own space away from that are 12-15. If they changed it to have things for teens ranged 16-18 it would've been better for families of all ages. We had a lovely stay here with our complete familie in one of the luxury 10people houses.
