A bit tired but ok for an overnight stop. very quiet place, WiFi is ok, but they changed the password, one needs to ask at the camping next door Usual high standard of these Aires... electricity, access to water and grey/black disposal, in a nice mown field next to a camping site with mainly lodges, means access to their Bio shop, and baked goods too. The village is pretty, on a steep slope. No other shopping. Mountains views are well worth it! Fabulous, if steep, hike for 4 hrs rtn, up to Pic du Pibeste. Well signed. Nice spot, very relaxing , usual services provided by CCP, used camp site washing machine for laundry, very helpful staff, would recommend, only downside was traffic noise early morning but no problem as I’m an early riser. Fabulous views of the adjacent rock faces and watching birds of prey. We had car trouble and the campsite was very helpful in getting a tow truck. They allowed our children to play at the park while our car got fixed. They couldn’t have been kinder and I would highly recommend! Nice location. Okay in late Oct. Road outside busy. Right next door to a big family type campsite. Wouldn’t like to go in high season because of that, personally. Lot of young kittens roaming the place too. Cute maybe but not for everyone when they’re trying to get into your van. Pitches not very level.
