The restaurant is easily accessible. Consider visiting during off-peak hours or weekdays to avoid large crowds. Booking in advance is essential. Double-check the bill before paying to ensure accuracy. Ideal for families, couples, or individuals seeking a nature escape. The food is awesome and you can tell that it not your ordinary chicken/fish, they all taste fresh and organic. The place look magical, BUT it is overcrowded and you need to book the table and be there at the time you are expected. Food is good and I highly recommend the trout. The location is great and there is also a store for purchase their own made cheeses, meat and other products. We were just visiting the place for a few hours, eating at the restaurant and after that going fishing some trout - nice experience. The food here was outstanding! It was one of the best meals we had in Romania. It's part of this whole bigger thing with camping grounds and a and all this other stuff like canoeing and what not. I think you could spend a few days if not a week here. We just came for the which was outstanding. Great and great food. Note that it is usually quite busy so you might have to wait a bit for your order but there are plenty of tables. We love going there to eat whenever we are close to Sibiu. The is just a few kilometers from the Transfagarasean. The connecting road is in condition, but be aware it is a little narrow. The parking is spacious and it includes even a charging station for electric vehicles. The has indoor serving and outside terrace and it includes a playground for kids ( slides, zip line, rabbit enclosure). You can in the lakes and buy the you catch, no need for rod, they have everything there already. There is also a small market to buy local food they grow/do in the farm. The food is delicious and it comes in large portions. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Be aware on weekends it may be crowded and getting seated and served it may take longer than usual. We visited only the restaurant. It was very nice. The food is great. According to what they said they use their own ingredients. There are farms you can see, it's watching all these fishes. The in general is very beautiful. Unfortunately when we went there the terrace with the view was closed. Great for a visit, meals, fishing, or buying fish. Playground for kids Cool off sitting with your feet in an icy cold snow melt stream - very refreshing on a hot day. We didn't stay in the hotel. Worth the time. Great and great food. Note that it is usually quite busy so you might have to wait a bit for your order but there are plenty of tables. We love going there to eat whenever we are close to Sibiu. The place is quite remote but you have a road till there and a big parking place. They have outside terraces and even kids playground. You can also in the lakes and buy the you catch, no need for rod, they have everything there already. There is also some small place to buy local food they grow/do in the farm. Albota Trout is an excellent place to stop and enjoy fresh fish, beef, chicken or sheep meat raised on the farm. Excellent view, very terrace and professional servers. Good prices too. Excellent place to bring children (play area, access to ponds, small river etc) The place look magical, BUT it is overcrowded and you need to booke the and be there at the you sad you arrived because you are expected. If not.... you are out! Moreover, if you come in groups of more than 6 people it may happen that your bill will have some extra things that were not consumed at that table. I was there and it happen to us (2 bottles of spring wate extra and some deserts that never came but was there on the bill). So.... be aware! That also happen to other 2 tables so, when the bill came, we checked and yes! There were extra things. I don't know if it was a mistake to all 3 table....but I mentioned just in case ;) Otherwise the place ia magical, the was a dream taste, absolutely delicious and for sure I will return but still I will pay attention to the bill ;) A clever place that serves as a trout with F&B, leisure and accommodation services. We patronised the and had a walk around the prior. The food was okay. We also patronised a gelato stall near the main entrance and found the quality of ice cream rather mediocre - sugar-laden with not much flavour! The place is child friendly and a place for the young ones to have some clean, healthy fun amidst fresh air. We visited in mid June and parking was readily available. Quite a busy place but they have enough places that one can walk in and be seated. The is easily accessible and the scenery is fantastic. Food is and I highly recommend the trout. We had lunch here, after the first pass over Transfăgărășan. The place has a huge outside where you can eat (100+ tables). You can sit at the under old trees, in natural shade, almost as if the is in a deep woods. Service was excellent and also the food. Highly recommend. We visited the recently and overall had a experience. The ambiance is really nice, although the seating benches could be a lot more comfortable. The starter was absolutely delicious, you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the fish. The bread was also fresh and very tasty. I had the Tagliata beef, which was tender and full of flavor. However, instead of cherry tomatoes as described, I received regular tomatoes, which was a bit disappointing. The fries, unfortunately, were quite soggy. My friends had the fried with garlic sauce, and that dish was excellent crispy and paired perfectly with the sauce. The place itself is amazing. The nature, the surroundings, the food in the restaurant, the children play ground, the farm, the food store of local products... - Excellent! The only fault was the spa section: sauna and jacuzzi not working at all. The swimming pool is located at about 10 minutes walk from the main building, the water was cold and dirty. Great with the view on the Fagaras mountains. We didn’t sleep in a room but in the camping. It’s very well equipped and there’s even a pool to enjoy your time. Will definitely come back. Maybe camping feels a bit overpriced (230lei) when it could definitely stay around 150 lei / night. Food was also very The service quality is amazing, the food is awesome and you can tell that it not your ordinary chicken/fish, they all taste fresh and organic, as there is a you can even catch your own fish, there is a sturgeon as well (exhibit only), the background is so and you can see the mountains as well, all home made, even the ice cream omg. You will definitively enjoy the freshness of the food and the mountain air with no pollution. Awesome place, awesome food (really trout) and the service is next level. We've beem here 6-7 years ago, it was packed with people and the food came instantly. Last year, same thing, the only difference was 5 times the amount of people, but the service was fast as lightning. The landscape, the set-up, everything, world class. Commin' back as soon as we get the chance. Congrats! We went here on Saturday afternoon. It’s a great place with a full immersion into nature but with all comfort. Can enjoy fishing, with big dehor and amazing view at mountain. Is also present an for kids that can also play in safe. Perfect place for everyone where to spend some days..as single to recharge battery..as a couple..as family . Big park near the complex We were just visiting the place for a few hours, eating at the and after that going some trout - experience. Also the sorroundings are quite for a walk in the nature, sightseeings. We had early dinner 2 times and the food was delicious. It was somewhat waiting for a but being winter and having a lot of guests, I could understand that. The is great and there is also a store for purchase their own made cheeses, meat and other products. A beautiful trout with accommodation and camping. Be aware of the prices that are not cheap. But all the is so nice, you can go only to visit. A large and vibrant tourist complex with plenty of attractions. We only had to enjoy the restaurant, as our schedule was limited. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the grilled fish, it was incredibly fresh and tasted out of this world. We ordered 3 grilled and 1 pan fried trout filets in total, all of which were delicious. Definitely a place worth visiting. I’ll be sure to come back! Real bad experience. Waited for 20 minutes to get a and after we sat down we waited for one hour to get part of the food that we ordered. The bill contained also the food that we didn"t get. We paid for what we ate a complete waste of and money. I had a meal, but they let me pay twice by accident. When I discovered a few days later, they promised to solve this. But they didn't... And now they don't respond to me anymore.. I'm very dissapointed.
