A really nice wineyard with restaurant and bar. We were bit too late for the wineyard tour but we could get in to have the of all the wines they produce and some snacks along to go with. We had a really good time here and later we could also buy the wined we liked from their shop which is inside the building. A beautiful place with a wide selection of wines, beautiful botanical garden with a lot of places for picnic. The staff is very polite and helpful and you can buy a picnic basket there. So lovely, and a lady who speaks absolutely perfect English did our winetasting. Definitely a place to stock up on exceptional Wines if you have a car! My partner and I stopped by here without any prior booking on a rainy Saturday and were welcomed and seated for a with no problem. Large selection of wines. We opted for the €5 6 option. Plus our sommelier was an absolute gem who gave us recommendations for our onward travels. We got here following a recommendation by our hotel, that also helped booked a tour. The place is really beautiful, we visited the museum, and the botanic gardens. At the botanic gardens we met Magali, she was very friendly and provided deep explanation about the garden. You can visit the gardens as well as the museum and taste 3 different wines for free. We had a great afternoon at this beautiful place Defo stop here for lunch, we also did and made a few purchases. Food was fab at the bistro as was the wine. We did the official and tour and absolutely loved it! Our guide was very knowledgeable - explaining in-depth the different aspects of the winemaking process and answering all of our questions. The wines were delicious and the tour of the winemaking facilities was interesting - giving us new perspective on the winemaking process. Would highly recommend. Also their on-site restaurant is wonderful - our favourite meals of the trip. We liked it so much we immediately booked a second dinner upon returning home from our first. My husband and I stopped in here on a whim to do some while in the area. We didn’t have a reservation but this was no problem! The staff helped us immediately and was so friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and got to taste their delicious wine! Highly recommend if you’re in the area. Beautiful property.
