The views to the are absolutely stunning. Monastery was built in 1693 and inside you'll see beautiful wall paintings and an incredible carved templon. It was originally built in the location called Palaiomonastiro, on a small peninsula in the Doxa where now lies the small church of Saint Fanourios. We visited St George’s church with the beautiful wall paintings and we saw the amazing view of the out of the window of the top floor of the monastery.
