On the POSITIVE side : Fresh air, nice scenery, many spots to relax, what looked like good tavernas in the area (did not try them on this first visit), interesting outdoors activities (canoe and padling in the lake, horse.riding, many hike trails) / on the NEGATIVE side : hell of driving to reach the (too many fork turns) , some spots filled motor-homes parked like in a garage, some.spots filled with camping tents even though camping is PROHIBITED... Prevajanje besedila s fotoaparatom this afternoon we drove the van along a very narrow and winding road to the lake, which is otherwise beautiful in itself, but if you are coming from the Alps, it is dissappointment. we planned to spend the night and continue our journey in the morning, but the is besieged by locals camping there, and a cacophony of bad, very loud music emanates from the tents. all the beautiful atmosphere is so destroyed. terrible place, we immediately drove on and we are sorry for the wasted time. Maybe situation is better during the week. Ένας παράδεισος!!! easy and nice hiking around this artificial lake! it is worth it a visit to the nearby monastery Panagia ton Vràhon (close to village Kato Tarsos) Beautiful with water bikes, canoes, a little chapel and tables with locally produced products. Great place for a picnic, bicycle or just to enjoy the view. Not sure if you are allowed to swim. Πολύ ωραίος προορισμός, μπορείς να κάνεις ιππασία, ποδήλατο η και βαρκάδα στην λίμνη...απίθανο μέρος για πικνικ το οποίο δυστυχώς δεν είχαμε ορογραμματισει...θελουμε να ξαναβρεθούμε εκεί όμως!!!
