I do a course here and it's very nice inside, and also warm, and has plenty of parking. Used as a venue for my son's engagement party, as expected from as social club, nice enough, good parking which is accessible. Very helpful and friendly bars staff. We had a lot of fun. My son was really pleased with his surprised party. We play ladies darts and we had our fun night at this lovely social club, it's managed well the drinks are reasonably priced there are functions rooms which can be hired Also snooker tables darts boards the place is friendly I would definitely recommend popping in for a pint or two It's also a place for socialising and meeting new people who are like minded perhaps who wants to play snooker or a couple games of darts Great place for a drink and chill with fair prices and friendly staff As a venue, it was ideal for private functions. The room was a decent size with plenty of tables and chairs. A stage us available for entertainment. The drinks were cheap and the facilities were great. A hidden gold mine. Great place to hire for a party, wedding reception etc. Room is big and has a large dance floor. Drink prices are very reasonable. Can get a little too warm in there during the warm weather though. First time I've been here , came to watch The James brothers Paid a non member charge which is fine but wasn't happy to be paying different prices at bar to members if paid for entry as a non member should be sufficient ! Atmosphere was good , place was full and had a really good night This was my friend's daughters 16th birthday birthday. A nice spacious room with a great barmaid I hosted a Charity event here on Saturday 7th August 2021, in aid of Kidney Care UK, alongside the Admin team, and had 7x top Entertainers of the UK on, this was a fantastic event as the Management & staff right from the start - made us all welcome there, We had amazing crowds and the beers are all served with a friendly and amazing customer service. I myself is a DJ by trade and have supplied my business here over the years and not once ha any issues, as it's easy loading n unloading into the the Hall, and is very large space to host any event you may have planned, I will be returning for many years to come, please check it out if your looking for a function room to hire or popping in for a refreshments and become a member. Very friendly and happy people This place should be ashamed of themselves!! My sister privately hired the hall for her wedding venue this evening. We was ALL made to feel uncomfortable by staff all night long due to past history with ONE guest. He was told he wasn't welcome and he was allowed to stay if he didn't use the bar. Due to this his brought his own drinks which Led to staff coming in and complaining. Staff giving dirty looks and staring making everyone feel uncomfortable and leave the venue early.
