Very historical, lots of places to and explore. Friendly locals, sharing good knowledge. What a great find! Spent over 2 hours here exploring & enjoyed every minute. A really lovely place with stunning views. Beautiful flowers inc Orchids. Information boards dotted around. Definitely worth a visit. Parking is in a small car park but there are some great of the old quarry and some history boards associated with it. The are good in places but some are disturbed by overgrowth. Worth a visit. Some of the terrain is a little rough so recommend decent footwear - trainers or boots. Visited for the sport climbing. Only had time to do a handful of routes so haven't reached a conclusion in this regard. Many sun traps so glad to leave on this very warm sunny day. Some debolted areas, presumably because of poor quality rock. Didn't try the trad routes but some are entertainingly situated, within a pit. Out of the sun too. The reserve itself is pretty, interesting and occasionally dramatic to wonder around. An atmospheric spot, with its industrial heritage. Worth a trip for a walk/picnic etc. Excellent site with well marked paths. Some very uneven ground with steep slopes so not the most accessible. Impressive cliffs with lots of orchids about as well as butterflies and insect life. Beautiful place to visit, the rocks/cliffs are awesome and you can access the top if you're up for a bit of a hill climb. Be aware that the car park the sat nav takes you to is very limited, six or seven cars only, so you may need to park elsewhere but its definitely worth it. There is a viewpoint which is amazing, slightly off the path but it is signposted. Lovely place for walks and climbing. Small car park, so I imagine its a challenge during busy periods. Also, if you take dogs or young children, take care as there's lots of cliff edges very close to the paths. Lovely around the rocks paths can be rocky in places, but a good area to explore Parking- small parking area but free, easy to navigate if you pin it on your map beforehand. Actual walk- quite pleasant with good views. A great place to explore, its also part of the Offas Dyke Path. Great view point with the Shropshire Hills in view. Not many parking spaces but I believe there are few ways to get onto the path. Amazing place with great and so many paths! Lots of information given throughout the walk, and I will definitely be returning for another look. Lovely area for a with the dog and some beautiful if you up to the viewpoint. Some very interesting historical facts on the boards as you around too. The is parking but it’s not signposted anywhere so I missed it and ended up parking near a pub and walking around. You can see the car park on Google Maps so I would advise sticking a pin in this and heading there 👍.
